It kind of feels like that joke in the Simpsons movie, when they start promoting Fox crap right in the middle of the film. It's gonna leave audiences pretty confused, but what can you do.

nothing, after movie is finished go home :word:

What movie did they advertise as the credits of an X-Men movie rolled? Which X-Men film?

The price for allowing Webb to direct TASM3: Spider-man appears in Future Foundation for free. Do it Fox! DOO EET!

This is really peculiar. I guess it's a testament to how much Webb likes Spidey and how much faith Sony has in him.

From Variety. The reason why there's an X-Men teaser at the end.

"The reason, Variety has learned, is that “Spider-Man” director Marc Webb had an existing contract with Fox Searchlight to helm another film following 2009′s “500 (Days) of Summer.” After “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2012, Webb’s negotiations briefly stalled with Sony as he was caught in a tug-of-war with Fox. Eventually, Fox agreed to allow Webb to direct Sony’s “Spider-Man” sequel, but only if Sony would promote its “X-Men” film for free.

For Sony, there’s another benefit to the cross-promotion. It allows the studio to situate its movie in the same Marvel family as Captain America and Iron Man, even if the creative team behind those films–including star producer Kevin Feige–are separate. Many fans look forward to the much-hyped codas at the end of a Marvel film.

That said, some U.K. fans who saw “Spider-Man 2″ on opening day were confused, wondering if it meant a single “X-Men” and “Spider-Man” movie is being planned. That’s not happening."

Ooooh, now that makes sense. Thanks Nicko.

I have a feeling the tumblr page is gonna stay active

A grant from Oscorp Industries Life Sciences Division will provide the resources needed to maintain necessary staffing in the nursing departments of several New York City hospitals. With budgets strapped, administrators were worried they’d lack the ability to provide adequate care to patients.
The Oscorp grant will not only allow the nursing departments to maintain their current staff, it will also supply hospitals with extensive robotic medical equipment upgrades, some of which are still in the experimental phase. Of course, if experience has taught us anything, it’s that experimental robotics projects never ever go horribly, horribly wrong.
In an official statement, Oscorp spokesman, Donald Menken added, “Nurses are the front line in our city’s healthcare and Oscorp couldn’t be more appreciative of the work they do. That’s why we want to give them the best tools possible.”
When asked about the improved equipment for nurses in city hospitals, nurse May Parker said, “It’s great to see more opportunities for younger nurses and it’s also an amazing gift to the people of New York City. I’m excited to learn how to use these new machines, even if they do look a little scary.”
It remains to be seen just how impactful these new experimental robotics will be when it comes to saving lives. One can’t help but wonder, will Spider-Man even get a little jealous?

In other news, Transcendence is opening this week. I doubt it will steal any of TASM's thunder since it has a 19% in RT.

Yeesh the cinematography in that film looked great.

I don't know how Fox did it. I just don't know.

I am more hyped for X-Men than Spidey.

One thing that is pissing me off about TASM2 is how most of the reviews and people who saw it say how Electro is underused. Jamie Foxx is the reason I gave this franchise a second chance after TASM1. He's one of my favorite actors but instead, we get a rushed Goblin with a rushed Sinister Six.

As little stock as I put in RT, when a film has a 19% on RT, I will take that as a sign.

So based off some of what I heard I wonder how Venom is going to be approached. It looks like someone else took it's place
(Rhino)
and now maybe just maybe the symbiote wont come from Oscorp completely.

I still hope that they DO NOT make him the full Ultimate Version and the cure for cancer. I liked the Ultimate version's visuals but I don't want it being Peter's Dad's blood nor do I want Eddie Brock to become Pete's long lost friend since Harry seems to have filled that role. I would rather them(I've seen this approach mentioned a lot) make the symbiote an actual alien life-form that was experimented on by Richard Parker and used as a part of his research. It would be cool if Pete finds in it
(his dad's lab which it might actually be there according to Seven's video)
and then it infects him.

The next movie doesn't need to be a repeat of Spiderman 3 especially if they develop the story well.

TASM2 now has 76% on RT. They just posted the negative review that was posted yesterday about the guy just trashing Spider-Man as a character.

that had no business coming in he's against superheroes period maybe its JJJ in disguise

Shocked they put that up to be honest, the whole thing got slammed in the comments by members of the public.

Seriously annoyed and frustrated right now :( How can that *** make it on rotten tomatoes, just so annoying. I honestly have always despised the quality of media in Australia and this is why. This is the standard that allows tripe like this to get through and it is just so annoying. I'm frustrated about the spiderman thing but also about the quality of Aussie media and it really gets on my nerves.

How are the people on this forum reacting? I didn't want to get spoiled so I stopped reading the user review thread.

Is it plausable we could get J.K Simmons for any upcoming spiderman movies, he was so perfect, and I don't think it'd be worth it getting another actor to try to match him.
