It was basicaly Webb's take on where he saw the relationship going in this interpretation of Gwen's story if the story did not require such a tragic ending

Idk if its required to have a tragic ending to work it but still loved his take trought the two movies, best thing in this franchise.

Amen to that! I think Emma Stone played a big part in portraying Gwen so perfectly, and really encapsulating that she was Peter's first "true love", and that in the end, the way it ended was the only way to keep them apart.

Well said! :applaud:

I admit that i will probably not be that excited for Tasm3 like i'm for Tasm2.

I know you mean TASM3, and I totally agree, the best part about this franchise was Peter/Gwen. Not sure how they will get me this excited for the next movie.

Oh wow. Mine might turn into that. Did you post a review in the review thread? Curious to see in-depth thoughts. I remember your like mini post or something.
Yeah, I did a mini first impression thing, but nothing in depth. I suppose I prefer just to reply to posts and share my thoughts that way.
Did the people you went with enjoy it as much as you did? :)
Yes. Particularly my female accomplice.

Is she a Spidey fan like you?

Oh god did she cry? I've seen that first hand and it isn't pretty

I think so. I didn't want to look, we were both staring ahead in silence even some way into the end credits. It wasn't until then I turned and asked for reactions. We both discussed the finale days after seeing it. The moment had power for us.
