Wolverine Crossover?

im not sure if it would work, it be intresting to see how they would interpt Wolverine in the The Avengers i dont think they will though seeing as The Avengers and X-Men Origins are being made by 2 differnt film companies.

It would be cool, wouldn't mind seeing him in civilian clothes and he comes upon the avengers while they are fighting and he sees IM get blasted or something and walks over to him like he is going to help and IM tells himn to clear the area or something and Wolvie lights his cigar by striking the match on IM's armor or some other type of cameo with him in civies.

Now that is something that could work and be ****in Awesome

If it was Tobey Maguire it could happen, I think Sony has the biggest chance of lending their characters (Unless they're packing GR back to Marvel, then it's character) to Marvel. I'd kill for Fox to lend the X-Men & FF to Marvel, making some deal that they 50% of profits or something. But I bet Fox won't do that.

eventually fox's contract will run out so marvel can do it themselves like iron man and hulk so they could, maybe for an avengers two or a 2nd cap

In the Captain America movie... I would love to see a certain Canadian soldier in WWII, be part of a multi-national unit that Cap leads into a battle. He could actually take a hit saving a soldier, and Cap runs over to check him, he says... "You just worry about your own backside bub."

Tobey Maguire cameo would have been pointless... not only would have Marvel needed several million just to make that happen... but what point would it serve? Parker showing up for some random reason... not like he was going to contribute to the final battle as Spiderman... but with this Wolverine stuff... I am happy that Fox is staying true to those WW 2 origins and what not. I just don't know what point a cameo of Logan in a Cap or Avengers film would have... so far the mutant universe has been kept separate for the most part. Until Fox allows Marvel to completely tie in both worlds I don't want to see these cameos. It doesn't mean the characters can't co-exist in the current continuity they have established... but what purpose would it serve really if you are not ready to make that complete transition into a single Marvel universe... which the other studios clearly aren't ready for.

Some of it is just for fun... Like having Cyclops make the yellow spandex reference in X-Men...

I think that would make more sense then him being in the Avengers movie. Good thinking!

Yeah, just don't name Jackman in the movie or pop the claws, and fox can't say s**t!

I also thought it would be fantastic if, during the omaha beach scene in Wolverine (cuz we know it's in the movie) you were to just see a shield fly past in the background. They wouldn't even have to show color, or cap himself, and it would just be a sweet nod that only geeks like us would notice..... what y'all think?

Not for until Fox decides to stop. They need to make another X-Men movie every so & so years or the contract runs out.
Hulk's still be produced by Universal, but that's because they're not greedy bastards like Fox. (Especially since they don't market down your throat which may be a bad thing for the movies)

How many people want to bet Wolverine will be in the Avengers movie?
How many people want to bet Wolverine will be in the Avenger movie?
if you will notice it is being set up that way.
He is on the current Avenger team.
There is a scene in the new Wolverine movie where he is fighting in WWII
He is a big money maker in all of his films marvel is not going to take a chance in a big budget film without a cash cow.
All the characters who have gotten their own films have been lined up for an Avenger movie.Don't forget Spiderman is also on the current team.
Coincedence come on let's not be naive.
They put Spiderman and Wolverine on the current team so fans wont scream.

Hey Spiderman and Wolverine were never Avengers?
Guess what?...They are.

Now some of you might say yeah but so and so owns the rights.
True but these rights are only for a limited time.
By the time they make all these movies.Thor,Captain America,Antman oh yeah Luke Cage ummmmm...let me see YEP!!!! He's an Avenger tooo.

By the time all these movies are made they will have the rights back.

The build up is already there.Think about it.

Coincedence I don't think so.

The comments went from I'll take that bet,to crazy,to what is he smokin?
I got alot of slack for that one.
I left of off that thread by saying time will unravel itself and we will see.
I said give it time.

Now what they did in that interview was give us a teaser what teaser has Marveled thrown out there that hasn't happened.
Hugh never said anything about how it couldn't happen. He said it could and he would love to.
Again if anyone said and still says I'm crazy...Again I say let's wait and see.
I would like some of you to see that thread for the slack I got.
It's going to happen..you'll see.Not

Now what they did in that interview was give us a teaser. Now what teaser has Marvel thrown out there that hasn't happened.Of course some of you will say it wasn't Marvel it was Hugh.He is contracted to only answer so much as his contract will allow on behalf of Marvel that means he can only reveal so much as his contract will allow Marvel.Lamens terms=Marvel knows what he said and they allowed it.Why was the question thrown out there because it was purposedly proposed that way.Remember when they asked Downey about a surprised appearance in the Hulk?
Hugh never said anything about how it couldn't happen. He said it could and he would love it.

FOX owns x men characters now only fox can do movies with wolverine in them

FOX owns x men characters now only fox can do movies with wolverine in them
Again I say now as I said then.
We don't know how much of the rights FOX has on Wolverine.
We don't know what was on the contract.
Marvel could have sold the rights to Wolverine but not in costume.
Marvel could retain the rights to Wolverine features in costume.
Sounds stupid right?
Look up the copyright letigation going on about Superman right now.
The Seigal family has gotten rights to anything from the original Action comic Superman was in.
Not the new costume but the old one.
Even though that is in debate and they are going to court now because they say the new costume came from the old one.
See we don't know to what degree Marvel allowed FOX.Especially knowing within a few years time they would have their own Movie production company.
Maybe their was a clause that said they could have the rights with the exception that if they make an Avenger movie he must be allowed to do it.

Maybe they can do it as long as he makes no referance to the X-Men.

See what I mean we don't know what the stipulations are!!!We really don't.
Maybe it will be a collaboration it has been done before.
AVP anyone?
Again I say let's not be naive.
Where there is money to be made and both companies can be happy it will happen trust me!!!

You know Hmarrs... I don't know how to break this to ya... but you are living in la la land... as much as we want to see the single Marvel universe... you CAN NOT MESS WITH RIGHTS... these egos for these studio executives are TOO big. There won't be any deals cut in the background... there won't be any coming to terms... because this property is too sweet to just hand it back to Marvel. I am telling you... if Marvel had this mass agenda to unite their franchises... at least the major ones (X-Men, Spidey, DD, FF) into their own continuity... it would have started almost 3-4 years ago. Marvel would have conviced Fox/Sony to do some cross overs and foreshadow these things to come... and if WW2 is even to play a minor role in Wolverine, Marvel would have gotten that Cap cameo or Fury cameo in there. As a matter of fact... Fox wanted exactly that with one of the FF films... but Marvel told them to **** off. And now Sony and Fox will return the favor if Marvel tries to dip into their pool. Don't ask me why the deal was as such when Marvel sold this A-list property off to Sony and Fox... it's a head scratcher... but it is what it is... each movie made = five more years of keeping the rights. That's not gonna change. Marvel has enough money to fund Avengers... I think they are content especially since they were able to get Hulk back... all these other characters never had ANYTHING to do with the early Avenger issues. Marvel has enough material and characters to sustain a franchise or a staple of franchises without having to dip back into the pool of characters they distributed off to the other major studios. Those are the facts... but you can continue to make up your own if you'd like.

Okay LA-La Land.
I'm here with Hugh Jackman,Robert Downy Junior Norton and the rest of the Marvel gang.
Say what you want, call me what you want but I said it before and I'll say it again you'll see and I'll be here to tell you
"I told you so."

Whatever buddy... stick to your theories if you must... but if you think Avengers absolutely has to have Spidey and Wolverine to promote it then you just don't get it... you don't. In fact I don't think it automatically means more profit considering the money Marvel would already have to invest in the film. Even if we are talking about cameos... you are talking about several millions if not dozens of millions to get those characters in the movie. But when you are putting Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk in the same film... heck I don't even know if a film can hold those three guys let alone the other two. The drawing power of those characters alone could easily make Avengers one of the most successful Marvel/comic book/superhero films ever. No need for Wolverine and Spidey... not by a long shot.
