Wolverine Crossover?

Whatever buddy... stick to your theories if you must... but if you think Avengers absolutely has to have Spidey and Wolverine to promote it then you just don't get it... you don't. In fact I don't think it automatically means more profit considering the money Marvel would already have to invest in the film. Even if we are talking about cameos... you are talking about several millions if not dozens of millions to get those characters in the movie. But when you are putting Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk in the same film... heck I don't even know if a film can hold those three guys let alone the other two. The drawing power of those characters alone could easily make Avengers one of the most successful Marvel/comic book/superhero films ever. No need for Wolverine and Spidey... not by a long shot.
Look Fat.
There not theories and I never said they were facts.
Also I don't think they need to have Spidey or Wolverine in the movie and/or big names.
Personally I feel it should stick with it's original origin with a bunch of unknowns at that.
Now just because I feel this way it does not make me blind to the fact of what Marvel is doing.
I think that alot of people are blinded to what marvel is doing because it does not fit into their game plan.
For instance look at your stance towards me .Just because I see this comming you assume I'm all for it when in fact I'm not.
But it's there all the build up all the hype.
Let's not be blind by being a fan.

Also you spoke about what FOX will and will not do.

How do you know?

You speak about the contracts for copyrights?

How do you know what stipulations and how much of the rights were sold.

All? Half? Part?
60-40

Then you say that I presume with my facts.I never said any of this was a fact. You on the other hand said:
"It will never happen"FOX will tell them where to go".Never.Your stating facts.

My question is how do you know?

Where you there?

Have you spoken to FOX?

Did you read the stipulations and to what extent the copyrights alluded to.Where you at the meetings?

How do you know what they will or won't do.

All I said is that if you follow along the direction they are going ergo:
Comics
Interviews
Current Avenger Line-up
Movie tie -ins
Now Hugh Jackmans recent statement. It's obvious where they are going.
Let's not be blinded or naive.
Yeah maybe Marvel told them where to go but maybe they can if they hold the majority of the rights.
They way you speak leads to believe that you think FOX has all the rights to this character. It doesn't work that way what they get is a portion of the character with limitations or stipulations from Marvel.Sometimes Vice-Versa.
Marvel and Sony pictures were in debate over this with Spiderman for years and until they could come to an understanding with Marvel the picture could not be made.Copyrights can be done Millions of ways of course a person can sign all rights away if they want.I'm pretty sure Marvel didn't do this but they can if they want to or they can license or they can release a portion.Like the character but no Wolverine costume or the character but only adjecent or in relation to the X-MEN francise.Their are a million ways to contract rights rights that's why I say it can happen.
Again now if all the rights were sold.Believe it or not.I say if the money is right and everyone can make money they will all jump at it.In business money talks you don't have to get along.
You can't sit there and say no.Unless you run FOX or Marvel.
I can't make the decisions that it can. That's up to Marvel and FOX and everyone else.
All I'm saying is that they have made it obvious that they will.
I realize that my post might seem sarcastic I don't mean it to sound that way.
All I am saying is never say never.

I don't know the stipulations... I don't even know if Jackman knows the stipulations so his remarks can be completely off the mark. Is Jackman more informed than I am? Well certainly... but I doubt he has gone through or has been notified by Fox exactly what the particulars are... I am not sure he knows much more then what anyone can find on the internet because frankly it's not his business or responsibility to know that kind of information. He is merely giving a favorable answer that will appease Wolverine fans. I doubt he has thought it through.

And I am not going to downplay the technicality that may be involved as it is almost certainly more complicated than I have laid out... but it's really not that hard to comprehend the fact that right now... Fox has rights to the X-Men... if Marvel goes so far as to even mention a name of an X-men in one of their films without exclusive permission by Fox, I am sure Fox will be all over them. Something will need to be worked out. It's certainly possible. Look at the deal Marvel cut with Universal when it came to the Hulk. It can happen but it doesn't mean it will... all I am saying is that Marvel isn't going to go out of their ways to bring in Wolverine and Spidey into their franchises. Avengers will be expensive enough as it is right now. I don't think Marvel can afford to worry about these other characters whose film rights belong to other studios. There are too many variables involved. Marvel has more than enough material to do one if not two to three Avenger films with their current staple. So I don't know why you are assuming or even throwing out the possibility that these studios will work together and make every attempt to market/cross promote by cross-pollinating all these different characters into Avengers and other franchises when there has been hardly any inclination of that... other than a few subtle things that fanboys pick up on and base their ASSUMPTIONS off of.

Point taken but let's get one thing straight.
I'm not a Fanboy holding out for a dream.
I for one think the Avengers should be the Avengers!
I thought the whole idea of putting Spierman,Wolverine and Luke cage on the team was stupid.
I'm old school and I hate to feel that I spent all that time reading comics just to get kicked to the curb along with continuity.
It's because of this fact that I don't even read comics anymore.
I even hated the X-men line-up for the movie.
Why couldn't they have gone with the classic five?
You know why?Money talks. They knew Wolverine would sell it so they went that way. They will always compromise for the buck not only the buck but the sure buck.Of course now what the heck did I read all those comics for?Who knows?

What I'm saying is Marvel has a way of building up what they are going to do and I can see it already happening.

You know what let's hope I'm wrong but it's less than coincedental that all of their premire movies have the current Avenger line-up.Including a Luke Cage film in the Works.Oh and let's not forget a solo Wolverine movie.
I still feel it will be Classic Avengers meets Ultimate Avengers meets Current lie-up Avengers.

Like I said time will tell.

I wouldnt mind seeing Wolverine, or spidey for that matter, with The Avengers.

Once Marvel studios gets ahold of them, oh yes, it will be glorious. Fantastic Four, too. However, that should be a reboot.

While they're at it remake X3.

If Marvel's allowed to have Spidey &/or Wolverine, I say have a cameo & wait until the sequel where Hulk quits & one of the two (or both) joins along with Luke Cage. I see the Avengers being a mighty cash-cow if Thor & Cap are well received & do good at the BO.

I kinda liked X3... :(
