Wonder Woman Movie in Development

She has the look down ,but what project did she impress you in? For the love of Zod in me, I cant remember her in Mickey 17.
Happening, and to a lesser extent, The Count of Monte Cristo, but I’ve heard great things about her in Adam’s Sake at this year’s Cannes as well. She had a pretty small role in Mickey 17.

Question - would it be OK by you if Superman or Batman would be played by a 5'7 actor, who possesses most of the Qualities you value in the cahracter?
Well, I once supported Jack O'Connell over Armie Hammer and other then-popular choices for Reeves' Batman film, and O'Connell is only an inch taller than the height you specified. So, the answer to your question is yes. Although I consider Batman (and Superman) to be quite tall and would seek that trait in an actor, I don't see it to be a deal breaker.

Beside that - If you have 3 actresses, who possesses all of Wonder Woman qualities you value - one is a 33, 5'5 who's an Oscar caliber actress, the second one is a 30. 5'7 actress you adore and like, and the last one is a great 20 something, 5'11 actress you don't know, but heard some good things about her... Who would be the one you'd want them to cast for WW?
I noticed that you referred to the last of the available options as a "great 20 something." Great is, of course, subjective. For this hypothetical person to be great in my eyes, she would need to be a proven actress who possesses the look and demeanor I generally associate with the character. I shouldn't have to "hear good things" about her through the grapevine—her body of work should speak for itself.

Look, if Gunn can find a 5'11" actress who ticks all the right boxes, that's cool. I'm just saying that height is neither the only trait nor the most important one I value with respect to this casting.

If the purpose of this line of questioning is to diminish how I see Anamaria in relation to all of the above, I still think she's one of the better choices mentioned so far.

No, Milly is 5'2. Her listed height online is BS, as it is with the vast majority of actors. Here is her next to Emily Carey, who is listed at 5'4 in similar footwear.

First i'll say - Emily's heels looks higher then Milly, but it doesn't matter. I did noticed during the years young Actresses tend to add themselves 2' more for their height(a common heels' height, i guess), unless they're naturally tall and then they keep it as it is, and sometimes even try to deminish it. Either way - The point i made stay the same.
That all said, if you're looking for someone who looks like they can really fight, 5'7 is right in that wheelhouse. The current women's heavyweight boxing champion is 5'8. The all time greatest women's MMA fighter is 5'8.
5'8 is better then 5'7 - it's a step in the right direction.
Anyway. I'm talking about fighting against the other sex not their own. Do you see those female MMA fighters going head to head with their male counterparts?
i'd say it again - 5'7 WW would look out of place next to 6'4 Superman and 6'3 GL(or the 6'2 one - Fillion's) in JL. But hey... That's me.

And yet I noticed her. And when she disappeared randomly half way through...

I might have a problem. :o

So you were completely wrong, but it's fine.

Are you being serious? It's a movie. There is no 6'5 woman who is going to look like she can fight Brock Lesner. The fighting, like the height, is movie magic. They can add an inch to a 5'7 woman easy. :funny:

She's the one at dinner with Ruffalo and Colette and then tries to hook up w one of the clones. Bit of a nothing role in Mickey 17, but she's not bad in it.

Check out Happening though. French drama about a gifted college student who gets pregnant while abortions are illegal. She's the lead and is very, very good; restrained but still free flowing, and has a real sensitivity to her.
Her performance in Being Maria, a French biographical drama about the turbulent life of actress Maria Schneider, is another one that stood out to me. Matt Dillon, who portrays the late Marlon Brando, also stars.
