There is such a warrior princess vibe from this really nice fan art!

Seal of approval.

Movie costumes better than the comic ones. Heh

Why aren't they using these again?

Was thinking about WW's fighting style and use of the lasso. I hope Snyder's team can really give us a dynamic and visually interesting WW in action, but I also hope that they don'e short shrift the lasso. Here are some examples of things they could do with the lasso action wise. Now, try to imagine Gal doing these things with SFX enhancement. Also, remember that the lasso is a magical item, which is "unbreakable/invulnerable", and being used with Amazonian strength backing it up.

all i see in these vids are a bunch of lame self-loving g*ys.

there's a simple answer to all this nonsense though (as of 0:10)

Except that, ya know, super speed, bullets and bracelets, ect. ;)

And in seriousness... I am talking about the way that the imaginary weapon that the lasso is can be used.

EW has some exclusive BVS photos, two feature Gadot. One out of costume (in a stunning dress) with Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne, and then the Holy Trinity shot with WW in the middle.

She looks GREAT.

and we know Bruce and her know of each other, could have they come in contact in the past?

I know this is going to be an unpopular question, but does anyone else...you know...not like the WW pic on the EW cover that much? I'm really not into it and am slightly disappointed. I know it's only one pic, so I'm not declaring her a disaster right now, but it makes me feel ever so slightly worse about her casting. :csad:

why you don't like it? it's just EW cover?

That absolutely needs to happen. It can be more useful than just a truth serum. And like you said, it would be a unique weapon to see a live action Superhero utilize.

It is such a cool weapon for an action scene it would be a waste if it wasn't used that way.

It really is. She stated that she's been using in that EW interview so I think we're good

I hope Snyder kills it with the visuals

Well, I kinda like it, but, yeah, it has its pros and cons.
PRO: The costume looks better than in previous pics and the unfiltered colors are bright and attractive. Gadot looks better than in her modelling pics. Her hair looks fuller and her build looks like that of a healthy woman. Her placement in the pic shows a good acknowledgment of how important her first appearance is for fans.
CONS: We are, in a way, still seeing Gadot, not Diana. It is hard to "act" with just one posed pic, but whatever the reason, she has her chin-lowered modelling pose still going on, so it does look a bit like glamour cosplay. Hell, I have seen glamour cosplay pics where WW is showing more attitude. Also, Gadot does not seem as physically well built as in her Con appearance. (That remains the high point of her athletic looks for me, and I hope it is captured on film).

So for those fans who already knew that the costume was colorful, and who were optimistic about the creators recognizing her importance, there is not that much of a "reveal" and things still remain in the "wait and see".

If anything bothers me about the Wonder Woman cover photo, it's her face. They clearly aimed for a "sexy" facial expression, and with the furrowed brow it just looks a bit odd. It actually makes her look pretty harmless.

Would've prefered a colder, "I am going to **** you up" stare.

But that's not WW. She's not supposed to give off that kind of vibe.

I liked her pic but I understand if others weren't really feeling it. I'll say that I liked her expression more than her figure in the image. Could be the pose or Photoshop that's making some things look off.

You'll have to expand on that Mrsk. What exactly about Gadot in the picture do you find negative?

The Gal Gadot Wonder Woman Entertainment Weekly Comic-Con interview!
Not enough here to truly flesh out her character portrayal though.

"Pulp Fiction"? Which scene, I wonder...?

"In a lot of ways she's the gateway drug to the rest of the Justice League"

Yes lawd.

How else would they know each others secret identities?

Well, Batman could have decided that Superman's appearance warrants a closer look at the same type of "impossible" stories that Lois tracked Clark down with. He then finds reports and legends about a mysterious woman in ambassadorial circles with heavily classified info on her and her home country, alongside reports of a female warrior during the Crimean War/whatever previous adventure she may have had.

She, meanwhile, has magic, and maybe an Oracle or too, and thus is aware of who he is through untraditional methods.

Affleck's comments on the scene leave some ambiguity: we know it's "sexy" and they know each other's secrets, but that doesn't neccesarily mean they trusted each other with them. It could be Bruce is in the middle of putting on all the playboy charm with her at a state dinner, then she smiles, leans close, and makes a comment about a "dark knight," then his smile gets a little more dangerous, and we get a heated back and forth where neither of them spells out exactly who the other is.

EW's covers are not really known for posting great pics of any upcoming movies, they use Photoshop a lot, notice how they have photo-shopped Cavill's chin in that trinity pic, I'm sure they have done some photo-shopping to Gadot's pic as well.

I'm pretty sure this was taken by Clay Enos, and then Wonder Woman and Superman's faces were touched up, for some reason.
