Ignoring your obvious lack of knowledge regarding male & female physiology, Gal has added 17 lbs of muscle so she's far from skinny.

If you're still looking at Gal at this point & saying she's too skinny, you need your head examined. She wasn't ever going to be a bodybuilder & the fact that you expected her to pack on mass like Affleck or Cavill is wholly laughable.

I've seen two BvS showings and, each time, the audience went wild for Wonder Woman. Entertainment, accomplished. And from the studio's perspective, the main point was to introduce her and get people excited for the WW solo next year. I'm certain Warner will achieve that. Smart way to set up this character for greater things.

I've heard a bunch of people say that. It's good to hear. I'm looking forward to her stand alone movie.

I think she was referring to Lex both times. She and Bruce

were both trying to break into LexCorp's system.

You could see her muscles especially

towards the end after the fight with Doomsday and she is carrying Superman.

I thought she was great. She embodied what I think Diana/WW is about in her short screen time: intelligent, strong and
compassionate. The look on her face when she turned to Lois after Superman's death, and then helping Bruce to carry him down...she conveyed a lot of emotion with no words

I think she was in the movie just the right amount. She had a lot of the best comic book lines, too.

The Woman of Mystery angle worked quite well, especially with Bruce's unfolding discoveries of
    metahumans
    .

She's a badass, an absolute badass. But she's also clearly a bit cold, with kind of a seen-it-all sort of thing going on. She seemed very intelligent, quick-witted, and sort of quietly compassionate. Speaking softly, carrying a big stick.

I heard people had concerns with her performance, but Gal was excellent. No real issues with her acting, granted, she wasn't called on to do much heavy lifting there.

    Did Doomsday break her lasso?

Yes. I loved hearing that word in a DC movie.

Hmm...I don't remember that happening but it was a lot to take in and I'd have to see it again. But in the comics
the lasso cannot be so easily broken and is generally described as "indestructible" except in special cases.

    Nope!
She was bracing herself on some rubble, which gave way and collapsed. She just lost her grip.

Gal was fine in the role, but her character literally had nothing to do. She was just "there". Basically no characterization.

Wonder Woman was a deus ex machina.

And I enjoyed it. Great introduction. More of her please.

I also thought it was a strong introduction to WW and I'm more excited by her solo film than any of the others bar Batman.

And christ, it's hard to appreciate how much work she's done in the gym looking at still photos, but when I saw her in that white and golden dress, there's some serious upper body bulk going on. Well done to her.

No matter how negative the reaction to this film is, I am yet to see a bad reaction to WW.

FINALLY. The Amazonian Princess will get her due!

Demi-deus ex machina. But yeah, it really was a great intro kinda "spoiled" by the trailer.

You misunderstood me. I never said I want her pack muscle like Affleck or Cavill, I just wanted to see her being muscular, almost like those fitness women. Not with a low on stage body fat, but with the pounds. I did not see any muscle in her back for instance. I could see her shoulder blades! I know she is tall, but she still looked more like fashion model. Which she is, but that's not Wonder Woman to me.

I have never been a fan of Wonder Woman but my goodness, I was full of joy during her entrance. Every frame she was in, every move she made, every fierce battle cry, her rocking theme music, I even smiled when she took out her lasso. I couldn't believe SHE was the thing that made me happiest during the film. Gadot literally came onscreen, grabbed the mic from Cavill and Affleck and ran away with it. Amazing job.

Did Doomsday hurt her? Had to go look up who are the villains are in her film, they better be a worthy opponent.

I loved Wonder Woman in the movie but she didn't really have a role in the story. It was more like "HERE'S WONDER WOMAN GUYS!!!" with a lazy connection to the plot that was just Justice League and solo WW movie set up and nothing else.

I think she should've been the one to break up the Batman vs. Superman fight instead of Lois, and been the one to unite them. I think that would've made her more thematically relevant to the story and given us more Wonder Woman in the movie, and tied her more into things as opposed to being a tease for JL and WW solo.

I liked that moment, in a weird way - it was as if to show her warrior instincts - her isolation from man and the world is shown here perfectly. She has seen this a thousand times
    death
and she probably has a belief
of the after life or maybe what is to come?
it's as if to say to lois - be strong

I think if anything she probably got bruised. Diana has always been better dealing with blunt force.

I'll go further and say WW was out of character in the movie. She, like Batman, would be very much interested in this godlike Superman being to see if he can be trusted to handle his powers responsibly or not. The whole movie was (or should have been) about this central theme and from an expanding-the-DCEU standpoint it made sense to include WW into this type of story. Since she thinks the metas like her are better off hidden, she would be doubly concerned that Superman is out and about willy-nilly.

Instead what we got was her being distressed that Lex has photos of her (??) and then boarding a plane without so much as having a conversation with Clark or Superman.

Then at the funeral she's all "They don't know how to honor him. They honor him like a soldier." EXcuse me? What do you even know about him? The line, and that whole part with Bruce & Diana did not feel earned.

That is a good point, one which I wish they had explored now. What did Diana think of the events that went down between Superman and Zod? Maybe when she found he was an alien she didnt bother? But it is definitely something that should've brought her out of retirement.
