Worst Case Scenario: Back-up Plan for the Failure of Banjo Kazooie 3.

You're in denial, WHF. It's obvious that they are the smartest people, ever and we're just ignorant plebians.

That's like my biggest fear come true. Being a complete idiot, but not knowing it. Like, one day you realize that you've had Down Syndrome your whole life, and the reason you weren't able to know is because you have Down Syndrome. :(

Your ability to put together a sentence that only requires one pass to read pretty much puts you head and shoulders above most others here. No need to worry.

Well that's a relief. Sometimes I feel like I'm prone to get blindsided by a person I feel is a complete doofus.

Anyway, here's a quick story: The other day I'm walking down the street, and I hate Nintendo. Nintendo does nothing but release the same game (shake the stick) over and over. Their inability to escape the "kiddy market" ensures that I'll never find one of their new IPs (Cooking Mama) to be the least bit interesting. And how did they expect to shake their kiddy image by calling their system the "Wii" anyway? What a complete waste of hardware. As a console that's so similar in power to the Gamecube, they really should have just released the Wii as a Gamecube peripheral. That way, they would have started out with a userbase of 15 million. Not that the Wii isn't quickly catching up because of those loyal Nintendo fans like that loser on The Wii cast. Man, Nintendo is a crappy company with crappy fans.

I guess your last victim fought back and got in a good shot to the head, because that made no sense at all. I hope you're more coherent when the police pick you up :csad:

I had a similar experience yesterday
I'm sure it's not just us too. At GR I've found reports that the Wii only has a three game attach rate. I wonder what those three games are... one is Wii Sports because it comes with the system, the other is Super Mario Galaxy... hmmm... maybe the other is just the list of "Shake the Wiimote" clones that people are suckered into buying for their "novelty" factor.

That would be terrible; Living a full life believing that you are far more sophisticated than your contemporaries and it turns out you are, literally, a raving mental patient.

So I log in for the first time in months to check on the progress of BK3 and...

F**k the Wii and f**k Nintendo. Gimmicky piece of trash. Ironic how after years of claiming about pandering to the "hardcore gamer", Nintendo will most likely end up making them an even more niche and ultimately irrelevant segment of the gaming population. :down

Heh. I see nothing has changed. Good 'ol SHH!

Anyway, I have the best interests of Banjo Kazooie at heart. Back in the N64 days, I think I enjoyed the original BK even more than SM64. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to play BK2. It's kinda sad that Rare has fallen so far from grace that many gamers fear BK3 won't be up to snuff. I'm sure it'll be a great game, but with the console so inundated with so-called "hardcore" games, I'm afraid Rare will be pressured to make the game more action-oriented than platforming-oriented, ala Ratchet and Clank. And after Super Mario Galaxy raising the stakes for the genre and amassing incredible critical praise (I couldn't believe it when I saw it), the expectations are hopelessly high. I hope Rare does well. Otherwise, the chances of the console seeing more light-hearted affairs (the type of games I enjoy) are slim.

I'm glad you're back to troll for Nintendo. Liven things up a bit.

lol, I guess I gotta change my sig. Super Mario Galaxy on my Wish-List? Wow, has it really been that long?

EDIT: Sig changed.

He vowed never to return, because the Wii was so awesome that he had rededicated his life to it :O

Oh, come on. First post in months, and already we're back to that old dance... :cwink:

Anyway, we should all hope for the success of this game to diversify the library of this console. That's something we can all get behind, I'm sure. Problem is, that's a lot of pressure for one game that will undoubtedly be compared to SMG as measuring stick for success or failure. It's an unfair comparison.

Actually, considering it's not coming out for quite a while.. I doubt it'll be compared to SMG. And if so, only by Nintendo fans who are smitten with Galaxy enough that they'd defame another game because it isn't a Mario platformer.

It'll be critics who review the game that will make the comparison, which isn't anything out of the ordinary. Games within the same genre are compared all the time as a way to arrive at a more... um... meaningful assessment, I guess you could say.

I realize, but I doubt they'll compare it with SMG as readily as they would if they were released in the same frame of time. The problem is that they are not, and thus comparisons such as that will probably drop off quite a bit aside from those most attached to SMG.

crazy people are often the most intelligent... look at hannibal lecture :o

on a side note, again i have nothing against the 360, wii and 360 is all you need... im just against the die hard 360 addicts who act like it's the ONLY thing you need

Hannibal Lecture? I'm not familiar with him, but if he's anything like Ayn Rant I don't want anything to do with him.

Excellent word play. You're always a top lulz earner.
