So what are your worst fears of the inevitable...

Being burnt to a crisp
Drowning
Being eaten
Stabbed to death
Guillotine
Torture

Getting eaten by an army of Deadites while they dismember me with my chainsaw.

WTF death by rape?
A dude in my area actually fell into a sewage tank that had collapsed, he actually drowned in ****, it filled his mouth and lungs before he died from lack of oxygen, THAT is possibly the worst way to go.....

Yesterday as I was slowly slipping off this cliff I thought "Falling off a mountain would probably have to be one of the worst ways to die"

This is sure a interesting topic. Afraid to say for i could be struck by lightning. Ran over by a garbage truck tomarrow. Blown up by the cook stove. Have my throat bit by a rabid pit bull. Gored to death by a bull.
Stung by a a swarm of bees. Slip on the floor when i'm doing dishes and have a knife in my hand.
Or worse die tonight for say which death i prefer. But i guess the worse death would be
A plane crashing into your house is what i say.

Not to take anything away from rape/torture, but that's death by trauma and massive physical injury. I think it'd be much worse to be buried alive and to spend the remainder of your time alive going insane.

drowning in a sewage trreatment plant

drowning alone is bad, how your chest feel like its going to explode and choking on the water feeling suffocated, but if its sewage, knowing that it's crap you're swallowing, that's just horrid

how about being eaten by another animal while drowning?... I always found that to be the scariest way to die...

that and a nuclear explosion, being far away enough to see it, but being close enough to have fatal effects...

At least the nuclear explosion would be quick. It wouldn't be like, say, if a giant insect paralysed you and laid its eggs inside your stomach and you had to feel yourself being eaten from the inside by a giant larva.

That'd be a bad day.

okay, I can see that....

what about lava though?... being slowly melted to death?
that's gotta be painful...

I was thinking about that the other day when I was watching a documentary on Apollo 1... dying in a fire would be a horrible way to go, so being slowly lowered into lava would probably be worse. :(

Some Welsh people would say that's romantic, that'd be like their version of "The Notebook"
other way round dude, you'd be on all fours and lambchop would be behind you with a big black strap on

I had a dream about that once... not fun...

I just realized I voted for "Burned alive" because I thought it said "Buried alive". Huh. Well, my vote still stands.

On MSNBC's countdown to Doomsday, one of the ways that paricularly creeped me out where the following.

A huge solar flare erupts from the sun, creating a beautiful aurora, but unfortanetly rendering satelites useless, and hitting the U.S. with a strong particle storm, knocking out electricity in one region of the U.S., preventing electricity from flowing through there, causing an overload burnout chain reaction, that causes all of the United States and Canada to lose electricity, rendering the pwoer grid completely useless in need of being rebuilt.

At first none of us know what happened, because there is no way to communicate. Within days all of the nations food supply spoils, without refrigeration. The shelves get empty at the stores, and there is no way to order more, because gas is running out because the pumps don't work. Without any government or law enforcement, coupled by strong hunger people start to panick. There is mass looting, chaos, and criminal activity. No way to call for help.

The factories we would normally use to get the power grid back up and running, are also useless because they are without power.

And it would take a minimal of a year to get the power grid back, but by then most of us would starve to death. The U.S. economy would be hit so hard, there is no coming back from something like that. Just starting over again.

Dying of a heart attack while having a wank... then all your family walking in and finding you.

Rape/Torture
Burned Alive
Drowning
slowly dying of starvation & dehydration while trapped in a collapsed building

those are pretty much the worst...

For me, it would have to be rape/torture. That's degrading as well as plain scary.

Anything that results in death is a good way of dying.

The worst way to die would be to jump onto some pillows from a height of two feet.

Worst death I can think of... probably the cold. I can imagine nothing worse than the feeling of stopping shivering and feeling warm again, because you know that thats it. You don't have much chance of recovering from that.

Ironic, because cold weather is my favourite.
