Would you guys think it would be okay if Marvel just dropped all current run of Spiderman comics, axing Amazing, and the like, and making Ultimate Spiderman the only book for Spiderman, and making that his current continuity.

^^ No, that would mess up EVERYTHING about Spider-Man right now. We have to remember that Ultimate Spider-Man is different than 616 Spider-Man. Besides, some people, such as myself, aren't huge fans of Ultimate Spider-Man.

No - that would be the most stupid thing Marvel could do.

Let's see... NO!!!
That would be my greatest fear coming true... Ultimate Universe replacing the 616...
I think that Most of us who dislike what's wrong with Spidey would be okay if this mess is fixed... (Satanic Retcon undone and If Marvel wants Pete and MJ separated, well it should be done in a plausiblke way... as plausible it can be for a guy who sticks to walls and fights crime on a skintight spandex suit...) a huge reduction on the: Big-assed events that will crack the net in 2, shake Spidey's core and then being swept under the rug when the next event comes... If I remember something else I'll add it here...

Its very obvious that the ultimate universe has influenced alot of whats going on with the regular marvel universe.

I wouldn't be ok with it....but its VERY close to what they are doing now with spider-man.

Seeing as the Ultimate Universe is ending, that MIGHT be kind of a bad idea at the moment.

no it's not^^^^^^^

It should...

In fact, it should have ended 6 years ago.
(I'm being nice here as I have never seen the need for an "alternate" universe... :whatever: )

All the naysayers can insert miscellaneous BND joke right here.

:yay:

I would really be surprised if USM would end with its sales still being pretty decent. (That said, Bendis may have decided to call it a day, and they'll let him end it out.) The rest of them, I could see. I'm willing to bet that it will be "ending" like MC2 ended. With one ongoing title, and a mini from time to time.
