Miz will have another PPV match with Cena at Over The Limit. After that I'd say Mysterio is next.

Seems to me like WWE is using Kong better than TNA did.

Let's not be too hasty. Kong's initial TNA push was fantastic! You have to give TNA credit for that. There is still no telling how Kong's run will end up in WWE.

Much like she was in TNA, Kong could end up being her own worst enemy backstage in WWE and hurt her push.

Seems to me like WWE is using Kong better than TNA did.

Its a little early to say that I think. I like Kongs look and her music and some of her presentation but she's only made two appearances.

One where she beat up a heel diva most people didn't care about (which could have gotten Kong a face reaction:doh:) and another where she beat up Maryse, who doesn't really matter. I don't think most people give enough of a damn about McCool one way or the other to care that Kong destroyed her.

They did a good job of sending a message with Kelly Kelly though and Kong toying with her.

But so far Kong's overall tenure in TNA still looked better than the little she's done in WWE, which is normal since she's only been on tv two nights.

I remember when Kong returned to TNA tv and just DESTROYED the other Knockouts and mouthed the words "I'm baaaaack." That was as awesome as ANYTHING WWE has done with her so far. Not to mention she was kicking the hell out of women with actual talent. Implant busting Tara ONTO Alissa Flash looked sick. She stacked women up like fire wood.

One of the rare things TNA did great was making Kong look like a monster her first couple of years there. Probably the second best monster in the big two companies at the time after Umaga. Her not talking worked great for her because it just made her more monstrous. The feud with Gail Kim is still talked about and even Kongs feud with Tara was interesting. I HOPE Kong and Beth Phoenix are allowed to do something that good. That had a good slow buildup

This comparison would be better made once Kong has had more time on WWE TV.

Is it just me, or is Immortal the worst "top elite wrestlers" faction of all time? Abyss, Matt Hardy, Gunner and the other guy who's name I dont know, Rob Terry, Jeff Jarrett, Bully Ray
and their newest member:

Tommy Dreamer

I mean...how can you have these guys be the representatives of Hogan???

Not sure if I can say THE worst...but its close. Bubbas good on the mike but the fact that he has to be one of Immortals top guys is sad. he's not a top guy. The problem is most of the top talents are on the babyface side right now. Sting, RVD, Styles, Beer Money, Anderson while Immortal is mostly made up of mid carders rookies and jobbers. Hardy screwing up really screwed them up.

If [BLACKOUT]Dreamer really is turning heel and joining Immortal[/BLACKOUT] thats classic stupid Russo swerve booking. [BLACKOUT]Dreamer[/BLACKOUT] is the LAST guy who would join Immortal.

I think Hulkamania was all Vince. He just needed someone with the face and ability to carry the character and at the time Hogan was the guy, especially since it blew up into something bigger than they had ever thought.

It was both.Vince tried to plug other people into that same spot and failed. If it was all Vince's genius that got Hogan over Lex Luger wouldn't have bombed as the All American face. Hogan was already becoming the Hogan we know before he even came back to the WWF in late 83.

Vince is trying to plug Cena into a similar spot right now and Cena's nowhere near the success that Hogan is. So clearly there was more to Hogans success than only Vince's "genius." Vince could promote the hell out of Hogan like no other but Hogan had to the the guy to carry it. He had a rare combination of charisma work ethic and he could communicate. Hogan could nonverbally interact with a crown like few others at the time.

WWF could have been successful if Vince had chose someone else to be in Hogans spot but AS successful for as long? Thats hard to say.

Regarding the TNA turn...

At the tapings last night, Dreamer came out to save AJ and Daniels from a Bully Ray and Gunner beatdown...and instead turned heel and helped Bully Ray. I'm guessing that he's officially joining Immortal.

Some good parts of Raw, some not so good parts.

Loved the patriotic opening, and Lillian Garcia singing the National Anthem.

And I just knew that The Rock had to come out and give a Dwayne Johnson promo on Osama. Great stuff.

R-Truth is actually pulling off a solid heel.

They are doing a pretty good job with Kharma's debut. I haven't seen a debut this good in awhile.

Good match between Cena and The Miz. Lame screwjob, but even lamer was Super Cena AA'ing everyone in the building afterwords. Just let Miz and Riley continue their falling out and let them beat the **** out of each other. Cena doesn't need to AA everything in the arena that freaking moves. Getting real sick of Cena real fast.

Wow, they sure are trying to push Mason Ryan as a beast.

Very nice closing. As a huge Rock fan, and the fact that Mya is about the hottest girl on the planet in my book, that ending was pretty good. Weird seeing Vince legit tear up.

I hope to all that is sports entertainment holy that Rock wins the title from Cena and comes back. I just... I can't stomach Cena holding the belt for a year then going over The Rock.

Not a lot of things TNA does these days makes sense. I wish Dixie would realize how much is wrong with her company and the way they book things right now.

I'm looking forward to checking out Fast 5 as a whole and I had no issue with the theme of the show, I just think while they have him there they could have done some much better segments than the poorly done skits they had.

Meh...I had no problem with the show being centered around the Rock or even being less wrestling oriented but the stuff the did do was mostly terrible and I felt the Rock could have been utilized better.

Then they wasted a ton of time on The whole Pro America/Bin Laden thing. I enjoyed that but I think they overdid it a little.

For a 2 hour and 20 minute show it felt like there was just a lot of waste and a lot of it was predictable.

Cena supermaned the end of his match with the Miz, Mason Ryan seems to be getting pushed before he can barely do anything, and Swagger and McIntyre had one of the most bizarre slash fic inspiring moments I've ever seen. What the hell, WWE? I thought Drew was going to squat down on top of him for a second.

I don't think you have to worry about Cena holding the belt for an entire year straight. WWE has to many other plans.

Don't be shocked if Del Rio takes the title off him before the end of summer.

No way is Cena keeping the title a year. He is going to drop it to Del Rio mostly likely.

Looking at that whole segment...Drew was just awful...

Amazing segment. I hope the video doesn't get pulled.

What? What the? Huh?!?!?

anyone else think that video should have been saved till after mania next year, seemed more like a retirement video

thought it felt more like a video vince wanted to use to try and get him to stay as long as possible - all the come home etc.. and the snippet of him saying he would never ever leave

A few notes:

Vince teared up because WM sold so many because of the Rock. He knows the rock made his ass all that cash.

Now that edge is gone, I like that they gave the spear to Mason Ryan, and his spear looks deadly. I haven't seen one look that good since Goldberg did it to the Rock on the Raw after WM19

As far as Kong/Kharma goes, I think the only thing we can do is see what happens next; the only question now is, which diva is next? Because I think she'll wait before getting to Kelly.

Also, is it me or dioes it look like the WWE is trying to "pretty her up" a little bit?

I'm glad they are finally doing something right with Truth.

After seeing what Hogan has done outside of WWE, makes me wonder just how much of Hulkamania was actually Hogan and not Vince.

All or most of it. Vince took a balding, not-too-athletic bodybuilder, gave him memorable packaging, hid his numerous flaws, and put a Hogan figure and/or T-shirt on a huge % of kids in the 80s. Vince convinced us all that Hulkamania was a happening. Hogan has never matched his WWF success away from the company that made him and he never will.

Just saw Kharma make light work of Maryse. I thought they'd feed Melina to her first, with her being a locker room headache and all.

Kong was pretty much a team player until the Bubba the Love Sponge incident. I'd have to say TNA messed up on that than Kong, than Kong messed up herself. The fact that management sided with that moron was just a sign of how mismanaged they were and still are.

But I will say if Sin Cara and Kharma are products of HHH's development I welcome him doing more behind the scenes. Both characters are over and have been built up very nicely in such a short time. Looks like he has a solid handle of how to make new stars.

Really think Melina will be fed to Kharma next. Gonna love hearing that primal scream before she hits the Implant buster on her.

Also think Del Rio is gonna take his first WWE title at SummerSlam and have a short run up till the Rumble.

So I was just looking up some of the TE contestants and a lot of them have been on other reality shows. Michelle was on top model and Jeremiah was on the ultimate fighter.I'm really enjoying the show and as of right now it seems Martin is the favorite.

I'm not suprised, this show seems to be more about entertainment than a legit competetion (not that there's anything wrong with that). I'm enjoying it, especially Stone Cold as host. Him with the three possible eliminations had me :lmao: The way he greeted Luke and walked up to Ryan then walked away hilarious.

Kong would have still been in TNA if Bubba the Turd Sponge wasn't in TNA. He was only in TNA because he's Hogan's buddy.
