Can't say I'm shocked in truth, the status quo of both shows has returned, one step forward, two steps back.

If the booking wasn't so horrid there right now, I'd wish Christian would go back to TNA.

Guys let's riot *mad* smackdown spoiler

Randy Orton beat Christian to become the new World Heavyweight Champion at tonight's Smackdown taping from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Christian got a 2 day world title reign!?!?!?!?,After working 10 years for a WWE world title/all the pops/IWC going crazy for him/emotional thing with Edge's retirement and yet he loses his first title defense!?!?

They could turn Christian heel I guess

WTF? It's stuff like this that makes me not feel bad about not buying a pay per view in 8 years.:cmad:

They need to turn Christian heel, which he works better as anyways, reunite the Harty Dynasty and pray Jericho wants to come back and establish the Hart Dynasty as a lead heel faction.

Just me dreaming, it will never happen

Classic Vinnie Mac mentality: The fans go crazy when Christian wins the world title and Vince ignores it and puts the title on Orton...after putting the title back on Cena.

Ya gotta love the FRESHNESS of this bold new direction!

Hows that push to make new stars going? This news annoys me more than WWE banning the word wrestling.

I don't believe this is punishment for going to TNA but it is kind of funny that Christian would lose the WHC in Orlando of all places.

NO. THEY. DIDN'T.

I'm hoping this goes somewhere. Otherwise...:argh:

Haha the irony! Nice catch on that Metallo

I'd rather watch HHH no sell and bury various wrestlers than read about what just happened.

Now,
Alberto Del Rio losing was completely pointless

I would rather he had won

And I must scream. Jesus Vince! Seriously **** YOU. YOU STUPID SON OF A *****. UGH!!!!!

Both shows right now are in the pits, I mean the PPV on Sunday had good in ring action but there is just nothing fresh or exciting going on.

Luke by far has the best gifts but I think it may be his attitude that does him in if he doesn't get his head right.

Austin has been around a long time and he even got in the ring with Luke, so hopefully he can set him straight, as he will have seen bigger ego's than Luke's succeed, like HBK and Orton for instance.

Yeah thats why I think he should stay with Punk. He can learn just being around Punk. If he's on his own his learning rate is going to slow. I just see WWE screwing up another opportunity to properly make another powerhouse star.

This is the problem with the business in general, jumping the gun in a desperate bid for a new star, even though it without fail backfires, I would hope Triple H would be able to influence this shoddy trigger happy mindset.

Its the worst thing they could do. Its the same mistake he made at WM27: the world title is being overshadowed by something thats a bigger deal. Making Cena champion when he faces the Rock just turns two draws into one which is just foolish. The WWE title can be a draw on its own AND offer a chance to elevate someone else. Rock and Cena don't need the title involved. Just like Rock and Hogan didn't need a title.

Exactly, they could have Cena vs Rock and build a guy up to win his first title at Wrestlemania, this way they create two drawing angles going in and actually bother to create a star coming out the other side.

The end of Cena vs Miz just made me throw my hands up in the air in near disgust. Cenas superhuman comeback was something that would make Hogan groan and shake his head in disbelief.

The biggest problem I had with it is that Miz is supposed to be smart, yet he didn't get rid of the evidence, just moronic and inconsistent booking.

A heel turn by Christian that leads to him brutally winning the title back and becoming SD's top heel is about the only slim hope there is that isn't just more unimaginative corporate crap from WWE.

I bet that was Stephs call....she hates the IWC

I read that somewhere

How the hell can they deliver such an awesome PPV, only to botch the following RAW and Smackdown both horribly? It's the **** like this that made me quit watching WWE for a while.
1 step forward and 3 steps back

Randy Orton is dead to me. I didn't care for his matches, but dug his persona. Now, he could catch fire and I wouldn't have s*** for him to do. I almost want to vomit right now.

It's like Vince does this **** on purpose just to prove that people will keep watching anyway.

at this point, yea....it's less "what is good for the WWE" and more "hmmm this will make me chuckle"
