The only way this move makes sense is if Christian is seriously injured again. If that's the case, I could see why they did it. If not, well, then Vince has decided to do a great impersonation of Ghadaffi.

What was your take on the way the Orton/Christian thing went down? perpetual wankery or moist love cushions?
It was a close match that if it was a little longer would of been PPV quality. It went back and forth and Orton got the win catching Christian using a move he had hit earlier and countered it into an RKO. Afterward Christian looked shocked and kinda dumbfounded. I think it's setting him up as a heel turn as the crowd loved him but went CRAZY for when Orton won. It could be his one an only reign but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets another down the line as a heel. Either way he's in the record book as a World Champ an he without a doubt earned that.

I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but David Otunga's Woman is smoking hot.

She's on Jimmy Fallon now. Looking good.

Just read Smackdown spoilers. Way to go WWE. 13 years and Christian finally gets to the top, only to have it taken away 2 days later (5 depending on how you look at it). What a joke. Screw you WWE, I'm going to have to stomach TNA from now on.

Well it was nice knowing ya fellow NWOite. Stomaching TNA is the leading cause of pancreatic cancer.

Just saw Truth's promo from Extreme Rules. Damn, that was good. Definitely have high hopes for this. Don't fail me now, Truth!

Is she an actor?

Sometimes, but mostly a singer. She was once a girl of size, but while she isn't a stick now, she looks good.

Won Best Supporting Actress in 2007 for Dreamgirls. Hasn't done much acting since then, but she's been through a lot in recent years (loss of her mother and brother, the weight loss, the pregnancy). She is going to play former South African First Lady Winnie Mandela in a movie coming out soon (this year I think, in time for next year's Oscars).

Looking back at all the rage from the IWC all over the net about Christian&other things,I think Vince as a business man is smart to focus on the casuals&some big fans than just extra focus for the hardcore IWC,The casuals&some big fans are the ones that.....

Pay extra for shows&even house shows/actually watch the programming on there tv's/pay for ppv's/go crazy for most merchandise than just"best of"dvds/are the most who visits there sites/biggest part of the fan-base and the kids are the future huge fans/IWC than us!!!!!

Vince throws a bone to us every now&then including like this with Christian as he made him champ and even though we may not like the tiny title reign But he at least was champ than never!,Business wise Orton is much bigger than Christian and so it makes sense in that way.

When there wasn't an IWC like today during the 90's,When we were the kids&teens back then and still basically a casual or big enough fan.....We were like kids today who worshiped the current biggest stars and said"f*** the oldies"!!!,Do you really think the wrestling purists/mega hardcore fans like most of us today were rooting for Sting/Goldberg/Rock/Taker/HBK&Austin as much as the casuals and NOT favoring Bret Hart/Hogan/Flair/Macho and others as much as the casuals?????

Most of us get mad at WWE&Vince when nothing goes the way as we fully want and say"F** WWE and Vince is an idiot",Do you think Vince cares and actually should care??,The targeted audience was/is&always will be as should be the kids&casuals!!,Like it or not we don't matter as much as them.

Most of you say"Cena is sh*"/I'm so done with WWE/that person is so overrated/that person needs to get fired/WWE fails/wrestling sucks now/OMG really really really??/BS!"As IF you actually know the answer to all wrestlings things and we have the facts while b***every single day for most of your posts&threads.....While the kids&casuals are fully in love with the WWE product and making the company tons of money (with some pocket change from us)and yet we watch through streams or just post online all the time on how"I'm done".

These Cena/Orton&Mysterio kids will likely grow up and become us from now to 10 years into the future as they talk about those wrestlers being Legends,Then new generations of kids will come along and be like the current kids!!!.....It all comes to full circles&circles!

The thing is the casuals do like Christian and the people paying tickets for the PPV's and RAW's and SD's do pop big for him, it made no sense whatsoever to take the belt off him straight away, they could have built it up to the next PPV and drew some money, actually telling a story that would gain interest from the target audience, doing it this way was meaningless and cheap.

Sounds like it was at least a decent match, hopefully there is some long term plan here, although given the ****** booking I am not holding my breath. Did they give a reason as to why Orton got a shot?

Very true and I sure agree!!,I just meant that Orton is much bigger and it makes sense business wise to have Orton as the top face or heel on the brand and thus making him world champ again soon.

At least a month before dropping it would have been much better and make much more sense than a 2-day reign though!!

I understand it business wise,But execution of it was very off!!

Yea just read the spoilers.....had my blood boiling....I'm pissed...and this is coming from someone who actually like Orton.

They had Christian start the show talking about for 17 years or so this has been his dream and that he was gonna do everything in power to fight for it, he was then interrupted by Henry who wanted a shot, then Khali came out and wanted a shot, then Orton came out an said he should get a shot. Teddy came out and said he'd give the WWE Universe the power to see who fought Christian, he then had people cheer on behalf of who they wanted and obviously Orton got the biggest pop thus becoming the challenger. I expected Henry to come out and end it in DQ to set up for the coming PPV but was completely caught off guard when the end came. I definitely feel that this will lead to Christian going heel as he'll probably be upset at either himself and snap or at the crowd for dropping him in favor of Orton.

On the bright side...Impact has TWO HUGE MAJOR MASSIVE debuts next week

Chris "Braden Walker" Harris...who is now in...lol...Immortal, and Chyna as Kurt Angle's tag partner against the Jarretts

*sigh*

Unless there's a heel turn coming up I think i'm going to stop watching smackdown for a LONG time....

I really don't get why there can't be two top faces!?,People keep wanting Christian to turn heel and I know it's officially the Orton show But so it'll just be Orton vs all challenging heels with low-mid carder faces as back up??

Wow, now who's with me that Randy ****ing blows and needs to be off tv for 6 to 8 months?

Sad thing is Christan didn't even have time to take the belt home and play with it like you dream about when you're a kid. Stand infront of the mirror and soak it in. he prob did in the hotel room but it's not the same.

Wow what a kick to the nuts.

That's He-Man, Vince would have loved to book him and his fur undies in the main event!

he-man was eterina not endor

eterina: big ass ****ing beastmen

endor: marketing for plushys

Orton blows cause of this decision that was approved by Vince or you always thought he did??,Why should he be off TV and not get paid or do anything IF he's able to compete???

All wrestlers get a replica belt or something to take home and add to there personal collection!,He's still be able to play with a version of it.

Yeah I agree it's a kick in the nuts to Christian!

I think he's gone to the point where he's stale, does his best SCSA impression every week and he doesn't sell anything.

I like Orton, but this is ******ed. It's now apparent that Christian didn't win the title because they actually wanted him to; he won the title because it was the easiest way to get the belt on the newly-Smackdowned Orton. They decided to move Orton to Smackdown but couldn't shoehorn him into the match at Extreme Rules, so Christian had to win the belt so he could drop it to Orton.

Christian got screwed.

they get to keep the belt they had on tv don't they? as it has their name engraved on it and it isnt reuseable

it's just a name plaque, there was an episode of raw where Edge gave Cena his name plaque when he won the spinner belt off him.

name plaque? is that the right term?

I guess WWE has what they want...a lame version of Hogan dominating Raw and a lame version of Austin dominating Smackdown...I guess it makes sense for them to slightly alter the formula that has worked so well for them in the past...but geez does it make for boring tv.
