Just as long as the entertainment aspect isn't forgotten, because like it or not that's what makes professional wrestling on a mainstream level.

Absolutely, Hunter has learned alot from Vince aswell, and I think he can combine the quality wrestling/booking of JCP with the glitz and glamor of WWE. In other words, I'm really excited about HHH taking over the wrestling side of WWE one day.

I need to know, are a friend and I the only ones who think Mick Foley looks like an obese Terry Funk in this photo?

He's not wrestling, that's why. Most of us have said for ages that he could be gold behind the scenes because he is a guy steeped in the old NWA days, which were the glory years of the business.

You hit the nail on the head.

So there's now going to be a second Rey Mysterio. It's like when there were two Matt Strikers: the one the WWE eventually signed and Matt Stryker with a "y."

I wonder if the two Matt Strikers ever went against each other.

So Mexico is going to introduce a new Rey Mysterio? They usually wait until the current one retires.

Chynas got the jaw of a young Terry Funk...and the boobs of Blinken in drag from Robin Hood: Men in Tights.

As for Foley I think its the hair. I remember in the late 80s when Funk would pull back his hair and it looked just liked that. There was an episode of Swamp Thing where Funk had that same hairstyle and was wearing a suit.

Tyson Kidd is decent on the mic, I can think of several guys who could REALLY use a manager.

BTW, what happened to Jackson Andrews? Seemed like him and Kidd were being pushed in the right direction, then nothing.

WWE put him out there on tv before he was ready then when they realized it and let him look weak. that killed any credibility he had right out of the gate. He hasn't been on tv since that time.

Mason Ryan is pretty green but they are clearly more into him so they are working harder to protect him than they were with Andrews.

If Triple H can stay out of the ring more and put aside some of his more narrow minded biases then he could probably make the WWE product better than its been in years. He's young enough and savvy enough to be far more in tune with what today's young audience wants but he was brought up in an old school way to understand how important it is to let things develop properly.

McMahon is more concerned with the short term while HHH seems to understand anything from mic work to ring work to storylines need a good solid foundation and should be built up over time.

I always thought Mick and Terry had similar facial features. They look like they could be related.

As for Chyna, I think she looks pretty good. She doesn't have the uber-veiny, 'roided-up look as she did in DX or the weird, constantly-changing look she had when she undergoing plastic surgery.

- While it's not etched in stone, the current plan is to have Sting vs. Hulk Hogan main event TNA's Bound For Glory pay-per-view. This would all depend on Hogan's health and if he can wrestle or not.

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Someone should really take down that 1997 calendar that Dixie has hanging in her office.

Well I can't speak for anyone else, but I know I'm entertained by Sin Cara and the Kharma vignettes and booking. :funny:

I guess the McMahonson(-in-law) got humbled at Wrestlemania. He's been spending more time at Stamfo...er...I mean "Asgard" lately.

Ha!

It might be too late to get Morrison a manager at this point, but he's another guy.

Metallo already mentioned Andrews being green. Hayes at Kidd's manager is the better deal anyway.

You know what would be even funnier and sadder? If the match is booked the same way.

Funny vid as usual. could of done without the tanning part though.ew.

Sting vs Hogan again is a HUGE thing in some ways and BFG is TNA's WM But no need to make it the f'n ME, Especially when there's a strong chance that this match could be seen as even beyond worse than Hogan vs Warrior at Halloween Havok'98!!

I think Sting can still go But I don't think even Kurt Angle could carry current Hogan to even a decent match!

Maybe we need a new word to sub for entertainment, because wrestling IS entertaining.

Thing is, Morrison can talk. Actually he can be witty as Hell. But I'm not sure if it's either the 'E reigning him in or if he just can't work as a face because he is sucking it up right now. When he was on ECW, the Shaman of Sexy would boast about his Palace of Wonder. I miss that John Morrison dearly.

:lmao: I haven't seen that movie in forever, but I can picture that perfectly!
