Oh my god! Its braden walker!!!! And he"s fatter!

Quite the coup for TNA (or shall I say, Impact Wrestling on Spike TV). They got a guy who was undefeated during his run in the WWE. Truly, this is the guy who will take the company to the next level!

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that America's Most Wanted will be reuniting. They seem to want Robert Roode as a singles guy, and while I believe that James Storm could also work as a singles wrsetler (from a gimmick standpoint, he's probably as close to a Stone Cold Steve Austin as we've seen), Impact Wrestling On Spike will likely think that he needs the undefeated in the WWE Braden Walker to succeed.

I'd say that they revealed a whole lot of nothing.

they revealed irrelevance....its like looking in a closet, and finding another closet...the void just goes on and on

Honestly, aside from a vague announcement of "This show is called Impact, and we wrestle to settle disputes" which clearly will shake up the entire industry with it's groundbreaking power...they just trotted out irrelevant names that won't take the show in the direction they need to go in.

The thing is...TNA actually believes that bringing back Chris Harris is a big deal that will make them money. Wrestling fans however, consider him A JOKE. He is lower on the totem pole than Hornswaggle.

My hope is that they are smart enough to know that he is worthless, and will job him out and get rid of him...though I really am seeing an America's Most wanted reunion, which would kill James Storm's career.

I think Storm is seen as a tag team wrestler by management, and that's all he'll ever be most likely. They had to give Bobby Roode a singles push sometime. AMW gives him something to do.

AMW is a step backwards. While I think this is a bad idea, I can see why TNA is doing it. AMW was one of the best tag teams in the country when TNA's tag team wrestling might have been at its height. But I feel sorry for Storm having to carry "The Never Was" Chris Harris in what will most likely be a failed revival attempt.

From what I hear, Brock Lesnar suffered a severe sprain in his hand, when he punched the Earth to correct the shift in the axis caused by the earthquake in Japan.

What I've been wondering is how TNA is actually calling Chyna "Chyna." Wouldn't that name be owned by WWE? I could swear remembering a while ago she had to rename herself China Doll or something because she couldn't use Chyna.

I have a bold statement.

How would everyone feel about putting the TNA World Title on Bully Ray? Ray has excellent mic skills, looks like pissed off truck driver that may not have a tradionally muscular body but look strong as hell. Ray can put on a good brawl as well.

I'm not saying this SHOULD happen, but it's worth a thought. If JBL can transformer himself in a man that won the World Title a few short months after breaking up out of his long time tag team and never having been considered as to having a chance tto be Champion.

It's worth a thought, like I said.

At this point, Bully Ray with the gold wouldn't anger me.

IIRC, didn't at one point a few years back legally change her name to Chyna...or try to?

Yeah, I read she legally changed it to Chyna. That's why shes still able to use it in TNA.

TNA Wrestling is dead and so is TNA iMPACT! Now known as...Impact Wrestling!

And yet I see both names...

Also, impactwrestling.com re-directs to tnawrestling.com

I see new logo, nice colors, and new name, and a new shirt with new name in TNAShop.

The Kidd vs Baretta match on Supersars was pretty good . I wish Hayes had wore somthing a bit more flashy. The best managers have a distinct look.

I dunno how I feel about the new name, but I always thought TNA was kindof a sleazy name for a wrestling promotion.

Edit: I guess I misunderstood.. so they're just changing the show's name huh?

I haven't watched TNA in a while, but I do recall years ago when Bubba was close to looking a main-eventer on RAW at one point before he lost his push.

If he's that good and over, it probably wouldn't hurt for a short-term. But they need to be getting their homegrown talent as champions. I don't mind Beer Money breaking up, it's Robert Roode's time.

Bubba could be a transitional heel champ like JBL. The guy is one of the best mic workers around in TNA so he can garner heat. As a full time main eventer? ...eh.

AMW was an OK team...but Beer Money is by far a better team. NDX is right that AMW was together when TNA's tag division was better but BM is just so much more exciting and Storm and Roode have a great chemistry.

breaking them up is good for Roode because everybody and their dog has been saying the guy has singles star potential. Its bad for Storm because its a step backwards. Been there done that.

I'd actually give Storm a midcard push. Give him the TV title at some point and see what he can do with it.

The guy has one of the best catchphrases (for a full timer) in wrestling today. "Sorry About Your Damn Luck" is a lot cooler to me than something like...I dunno..."I'm Awesome" :whatever:

Chynas not the physical specimen she once was but I'm curious if she can still work a match. She was never great but she was good in the ring. Her appearance is probably a short term deal but I'll admit Id be interested to see if Tara or Mickie James could have a good match with her. Tara's always said she wanted to work with Chyna.

If Chyna was in better shape and shook off the rust there's a few Knockouts that I think could do some good stuff with her.

I'm watching last week's TNA... did Samoa Joe really just call himself an undefeated Phenom?

PS: writing this post took about 15 minutes. Thanks Miss Tessmacher and Mickie James.
