She certainly had some true 80's hair back then but no. I did think she was cute and she has aged pretty well.

She's the only person even remotely connected to DC comics behind the scenes that I'd like to give me a happy ending thats for sure.

Theres a couple of different stories on that. One was that he was having financial troubles during the 30's and willingly sold his share of what would eventually become DC comics.

The other story is that it was basically frozen out of the company against his will by his partners when they wanted to take over.

Kinda sad either way since that was just when National was REALLY began taking off with Superman and Batman.

So i saw Torrie Wilson up close at the comic con and damn i was just staring as she walked by, she's just as gorgeous as she was back in the day. I've seen Mickie James a few times up close when she wrestled i had close seats, but dat ass in dem jeans today

I'm gonna go talk to her tomorrow, pay the $20 for the autograph, then ask her about Batista

Miss Tessmacher, Mickie, Tara, Velvet Sky, and Sarita are all outstandingly smashable in my opinion. I'll talking serious back.

Theres an interesting question: the 10 best booties in the knockouts/divas divisions today. There are certainly some poll worthy ones.

I've always wondered if they edit crowd reactions for the broadcast--and, if they do, how much.

I just remember watching a few years back when they were trying to give Bob Holly a main event push--and the crowd was cheering hard. I thought to myself "I don't believe for a second that crowd cares about Bob Holly that much," and from what I could see it certainly didn't look like a cheering crowd (though the first few rows aren't always the best indicator during a match).

It happens, believe me. I was at Fall Brawl '94, in the heart of Flair country, when WCW was booking Hogan as the #1 face, feuding with Flair. Hogan did a "live" promo (actually it was taped) and when he was done, cheering came from the video wall where Mean Gene was "talking" to Hulk. The crowd was about 95% pro-Flair that night, so they had no choice.

WCW also piped in "Goldberg" chants early on in his push to get the desired effect from the crowd. The WWF parodied this with the "Gillberg" chants.

I'm sure WWE does this now when they feel the need.

Yeah I know they've done it for taped shows and when WWE and WCW have occasionally done it for live shows you know somethings up. I've watched many a dvd where they messed with the crowd noise so its not that hard to do on a taped show.
