I watched the Smallville finale tonight...I'd have been better off watching Smackdown![]()
A number of WWE Superstars were on hand for a press conference in Mexico City on Friday, where WWE announced that for the first time ever, RAW and SmackDown! will be broadcast from Mexico this October. Alberto Del Rio stated during the conference that his goal is to end The Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
Me too
I really want that two hours back. I haven't watched it since season 2 (I watched the dad die at the end of season 5?) but this was still trash.
I like wrestling.
I've always wondered if they edit crowd reactions for the broadcast--and, if they do, how much.
I just remember watching a few years back when they were trying to give Bob Holly a main event push--and the crowd was cheering hard. I thought to myself "I don't believe for a second that crowd cares about Bob Holly that much," and from what I could see it certainly didn't look like a cheering crowd (though the first few rows aren't always the best indicator during a match).
I wouldn't doubt it being Del Rio who gets the streak.Vince is really high on him and It's been said he knows how to play the political game well.
There are deleted scenes?! Are they at the official WWE website?I was just watching a deleted scene from Tough Enough from after the basketball challenge.Booker asks Eric if he's just playing a black man.It was hilarious.
I understand that there are A LOT of Punk fans out there. But come on. He has no business ending the Undertaker's streak. He should feel honored to even get a WrestleMania match with arguably the greatest WWE wrestler of all-time. I don't get the hype for CM Punk. He's good on the mic and good in the ring. He's a solid worker, but not anywhere near deserving of ending that streak. If someone is going to break the streak then it should be Punk, he's still perfectly placed to do it, in spite of the ridiculously executed feuds with Cena and Orton.
It really could be a compelling feud, I don't see anyone on the roster right now who could provide The Undertaker with a better feud than Punk in regards to going 20-0.

Besides if they're going to end the streak with someone as young and unproven in the WWE as CM Punk, then let it be a new/young wrestler. Someone that they're confident in and want to give a major push too. Someone with potential. Heck, even let the Miz do it. He's lacking credibility as it is. If he were to cleanly upset the Undertaker even on his last leg, that would still set him for the rest of his career.
Punk has all the potential in the world, the likes of JR and Jericho have already praised the guy for being one of the best heels of all time. The man is absolutely brilliant as a heel and I don't think there's anyone in the company right now who knows how to tell a better story than him, both in and outside of the ring. That's why he deserves at the very least a shot at the Undertaker at Wrestlemania.
Plus, in my humble opinion, Punk is one of a very select pool who could take a win over the Undertaker at WM and truly run with it. To put it simply, he could build a legacy based off a win over the Undertaker at WM. I'm not so sure that many others could.
It is broadcast in Mexico. What they mean is it will be the first time Raw and Smackdown are live from Mexico.Usually they only do house shows there.I thought Raw&Smackdown was shown in Mexico!?,There's a local spanish channel that is shown in Mexico and they show Raw&Smackdown replays in spanish dubbed!
