The problem isn't part-timers/old time legends showing up, that's fine. The problems start with having them show up and immediately start going over, or just being booked to upstage, the full-timers and younger guys who you should be pushing as your future.
Goldberg coming out of retirement to wrestle Lesnar is one thing. Goldberg coming out of retirement and, in his first match in like 12 years and at nearly 50 years old, beating or beating down say AJ Styles, or Seth Rollins, or Dean Ambrose (which is what actually happened at WM with Brock), that's something completely different.
One is fine, the other not so much,
