The problem isn't part-timers/old time legends showing up, that's fine. The problems start with having them show up and immediately start going over, or just being booked to upstage, the full-timers and younger guys who you should be pushing as your future.

Goldberg coming out of retirement to wrestle Lesnar is one thing. Goldberg coming out of retirement and, in his first match in like 12 years and at nearly 50 years old, beating or beating down say AJ Styles, or Seth Rollins, or Dean Ambrose (which is what actually happened at WM with Brock), that's something completely different.

One is fine, the other not so much,

I agree although Goldberg Vs. Rollins would be fun. Certainly better than McMahon's wet dream of Goldberg Vs. Reigns.

Goldberg comes off as far less of a conceited jerk than Lesnar, and yes I'm referring to real life.

Michael Hayes said it best. Goldberg's a great guy until its time to go work. I also met both men, while they took care of me, Goldberg is humble when it comes to meeting fans.

I can't get my head around this muted Goldberg/Lesnar match. Who benefits from a win/lose?

Lesnar so he can avenge that bogus Wrestlemania loss.

It'd be fun, but Rollins would need to win. One thing that I won't criticize about Sting's WWE run (maybe the only thing) was him putting over Rollins. That's what should have happened imo.

Forgot to share a particular thought of mine about Bound For Glory in regards to Maria.

She's really established a great heel character and done some great work albeit in pedestrian storylines.

It surprised me that for a woman who just entered the hall of fame and beat Maria for the title, Gail Kim got no reaction. To add insult to injury, they have Maria punked out by a painfully green Brandi Rhodes.

It makes me wonder what Maria could have done in a better WWE women's division beyond the ditzy character she was given, as at the time she was a more than decent worker in comparison to the wider division. The sad thing is that due to polictics she probably won't get another chance.

As a sidenote, I also think her husband would be a natural in the Smackdown IC division....and that's just as a start.

As a guy who appreciates the history of major wrestling companies, it gives me goosebumps seeing Hunter Hearst Helmsley hold the original WWE (WWWF) Championship.
