That would be great. I hope it's soon though, I'm already tired of Knox. :o

Shouldn't you be learning right now? Staying home leeching off your parents again?

I'm actually looking forward to the Knox/Punk confrontation, I just think they should have at least had a brawl by now. It's a bit slow going, especially with 2 characters on every week.

Those are classics. Old School fan?

Most definitely. I bought most of the pay-per-views of 2000 on VHS for the most part to see their matches. My favorite is their Backlash match, followed by the SummerSlam encounter, then the submission match at Judgment Day. Stiff, technical, high-flying, psychology, just great stuff.

I do what I want! :cmad: No, I'm not leeching. This is my house. I own it! :cmad:

I hope when they do have a match, it's Extrrrrrrreme Rrrrrrules (:csad: ). I think they need to let Punk work that style of match to let people know he can do it all.

Yeah, I'm surprised after all this time he hasn't had an "ER" match yet, even though he's been a mainstay on the show for a while now. You'd think at least that second match with Moore would have been "ER".

God, I can't even type out "ER".

Those were the days. I think they focused more on the matches than the "Entertainment" aspect. This is why I see TNA being the superior brand in terms of wrestling. You can see 10,000 wrestling moves on a TNA show while WWE seems to be focusing less and less about wrestling and more about "male soap opera storylines". I think this is the reason I miss Old School wrestling from the 80's to the end of the Attitude Era.

How much of the new Hogan DVD deals with the NWO?

there's a portion on disc 2 entitled "formation of the nwo", and the next dvd segment is the famous Hogan v. Sting match. unfortunately (and that was the FIRST thing i was looking for) there's little more than that in the set:(

To me, the Benoit Jericho feud was never as good as it could've been in the WWE.

Though I think they did have a couple more great matches on TV in 04/05 which I think were better than a lot of the ones they had in 2000.

Their best 2 out of 3 falls match was really disappointing.

Randy vs Punk from Japan,it's as if Orton is crying out for Sabre to become an RKO mark:csad:

The man ass is here makes me sad. :csad:

But damn, Orton/Punk happened, and we haven't seen it? W. T. F?!?!?!?!?! :cmad:

The only thing I found disappointing about it was the lack of time it got, same for the submission match.

WWE ran their RAW & ECW LIVE @ BUDOKAN 2nd event on October 19th in Tokyo at Nippon Budokan, claiming 9,377 paid. Results:

1. Jeff Hardy defeated Kevin Thorn in 6 minutes, 23 seconds with a swanton bomb.

2. 3-way tag match: The Highlanders defeated Tommy Dreamer & Sandman and The Spirit Squad in 8 minutes, 2 seconds when the Highlanders used a reverse brainbuster on Johnny for the win.

3. Umaga defeated Balls Mahoney in 3 minutes, 9 seconds with the Samoan Spike.

4. Carlito & Maria defeated Mike Knox & Kelly Kelly in 7 minutes, 3 seconds when Carlito used a backbreaker on Knox.

5. Extreme Rules match: Sabu defeated Johnny Nitro in 8 minutes, 10 seconds with a diving leg drop (chair on the table).

6. Randy Orton defeated CM Punk in 16 minutes, 20 seconds with the RKO.

7. 3-way match: Edge defeated Rob Van Dam & Test when Edge pinned Test after RVD hit the 5-star Frog Splash.

8. DX defeated Big Show & Hardcore Holly in 16 minutes, 10 seconds when Shawn hit Holly with the superkick and Hunter then used his Pedigree finisher for the win.

Orton/CM Punk and Edge/RVD/Test sound like some good matchups.

True and I wouldn't mind seeing Sabu beat the holy hell out of Nitro and Hardy/Thorm either. Stupid WWE.

I'd love to see the Punk/Orton match, they got 16 minutes which is enough to see how they work together and i wonder if Orton won clean

Also Balls vs Umaga should be tons of fun:woot:

When WWE isn't screwing it up with shorter matches, more promos and silly out of the ring stuff, it's fine (though there's always room for improvement). Unfortunately, those instances are limited and the future appears to be even more so.

Do you guys like the new ECW?
It's the only wrestling show on television that is consistently solid, with good 'rasslin and feuds going each week. The shows format is becoming stale, and they'll need to switch things up a bit, and SD has an overall better show, but ECW has Punk. So yeah, I like the new ECW.

That actually was a problem with ECW back when it was on TNN as well. I just lost a lot of interest in the program. Well that and they had like only one match on each week....:o
