I just finished playing Crackdown. I was enjoying the hell out of playing, because it was like GTA. Except you actually are a "good guy". Then the end came.:whatever:

Turns out you are unwittingly working for a militant government to strike fear into society, & make them think that the only way to keep you safe is if they give up all there rights. A "New World Order".

So now I can't play the game anymore. My character has been compromised. I feel used. The game isn't what it once was. I thought this game was actually a positive game. Now...:whatever:

I thought this was going to be about Halo 3.

Crackdown is one of the best 360 games. What did you expect the ending to be. "Oh wait, we have more bosses to fight" da duh daaaaa....sequel.

Halo can suck my taint.

No I was expecting a typical congratulations you have rid the city of crime.

I don't want to continue playing a game knowing that my character is no longer a law enforcement agent, but
a pawn in a game for world domination.

seriously :whatever:

I LOVED the story of Crackdown. Well, what little story there was. But seriously, if you didn't see it comming from a mile away, you must not of been paying attention to anything really.

I thought it was a good surprise ending. It gave the game a good spin.

And really, it makes the game better.

Keep playing it. There's DLC and it's awesome.

I freaking love Crackdown.

Yeah man, I started a new game on the hardest difficulty this morning, seeing if I can beat it on that. The game has amazing replayability:up:

I loved the ending. Instead of like "Yay! You made the world safer." It's "Guess what? You were a tool! PWNED!!!".

I thought it set up a sequel with you fighting the Agency. Of course that will take about 5 years now.

It's the Deus-Ex twist you've got to love.

And you WILL love it, Maximum_Carnage.

Haven't they announced that there won't be a sequel to this?

That's why you can't play? LOL! I can't play it anymore because it's boring as f**k. The only fun thing to do in that game is jump on the rooftops. The shooting is terrible, and the driving is f**king HORRIBLE. Ugh.

Anyway, your character could be out to right the wrong. Vigilante pawn of anti-world domination.

Man without that twist ending it would've just been a game with fun gameplay and a cliched story. It was a good move that at least made it seem like they put in some effort to tell a story.

Get your shooting up to something like 2 or 3stars, then sit between the road's on a bridge either above all the cars, or equal level with all the cars, and when a big truck comes by, just target its wheels with a machine gun and take them out. I literally spent a good 5 hours just sitting there doing that one day seeing how big of explosions I could get, or how many cars I could pile up from 1 shot, or how many flips in the air I could get the cars to do.

I never said I didn't like the game.

The ending just changed my perception of what I was playing. I had created this good character, & to have it turn out that he was just a pawn. It bummed me out. I was Role Playing with this character.

I will probably end up playing it again, but I ain't going to be all super hero like I was. I am going to kill as many agency cops as possible. Conformity my ass!:cmad:
