Just before Blink and Warpath appear in the opening battle we can see Colossus sitting at a table and drawing! Just a teeny tiny little fanboy thing I appreciated.

A nice little subtle Easter Egg I spotted is when Logan wakes up in his apartment you can see that on the wall are a couple of samurai swords hanging up as well as a framed picture of Mount Fugi which is the highest mountain in Japan which is a nice nod to Wolverine's Japanese past with Yashida. Also the colours of the room especially the curtains is similar to his brown and yellow costume in the comics. The site Screenrant picked up on this.

Something I noticed was Trask saying to the president about Mystique that what's to stop her from turning into a general, a secret service agent or the president himself. Mystique did in fact transform into all three of those on the film. She was the Vietnamese general in Paris, the secret service agent and then the president. Fun
