Honestly? The X-Men teams have gone through enough changes, deaths and resurrections for anyone to worry about a "disassembly".

Yeah, I don't even think of specific characters when I think of the X-Men. I just think of a big mass of mutants who are all loosely connected to each other somehow. There's really nothing to disassemble, unless they just go ahead and blow up Xavier's school. Even then, that'd just get ONE off their back.

It's a What If? one-shot, dude.

Was it actually revealed as a What IF? I didn't read anywhere it was. If it's just your guess then no need to him lol. If it is a What IF? could I see the link plz, because if it is I can care less. If it's an event, I might, might pick it up. There have been so many X-Men events lately from Onslaught to HOM that I'm turning sour on them.

I prefer X-Men crossover to be just them fighting another team, or being players against a bigger foe, but not the main focus.

Seeing Wolverine's claws randomly burst into flame for no reason might actually be worth suffering through the rest of the story.

i wouldn't mind a shakeup in x-men if handled well.

I'd like to see Beast returned to his first blue furry form rather than the current stupid looking one. I'd also like to see Gambit die, but I know that would just mean someone would just bring him back. I guess what I really want is X-Men paired down just one or two essential books, so that I could start reading it again.

I never liked Gambit much, but I kind of miss him now. He's kind of the quintessential '90s X-Man to me. He reminds me of the cartoon and, frankly, he's not a very good villain, so they should just stick him back on an X-team.

I don't get the name.

The Avengers were 'Disassembled' because the Avengers war-cry was/is "Avengers Assemble!". The X-Men have no such war-cry, thus the play on words in the title really only applies to the Avengers.

But what the hell, let's tear the X-Men apart for the umpteenth time.
