Sequels X-Men Live-Action TV Show in Development at Fox

I hope this is true.

well Gotham caused fox and WB to finally work out a deal to allow the 1960's Batman to come to DVD/Blu-ray/Digital

death at expecting a Jennifer Lawrence show, lol. Isnt enough to have Mystique as a big player in the current trilogy?

the exciting thing of a show is to explore new things, another context, another team, new plots, more grounded and all of that

Would be far more exciting if it was a different continuity team of core X-Men - Wolvie, Cyclops, etc.

My interest is piqued

having the core X-Men on tv weekly would be awesome, obviously, but we are gonna get a new Cyclops, Jean, Storm and more on the movie franchise soon, so... a third Cyclops, Jean and so would be reduntant

a new roster is more than welcome to me, and we know to many fans too, that have been waiting for other characters.

This Is going to be about expamding the main contunity like AOS not creating
a new contunity.

Even though i don't think highly of AOS or the agent carter upcoming this could work.

Also there are going to be limits to what they can do on TV budget so X-factor with being a investigation more than super team Is way to go.

Please be Xcalibre or X-Factor investigations

So no interest in the Netflix shows?

I also hope it's a core teen x-men show. I thought X1 did a good job of keeping SFX to a low key, intriguing level and I'd be happy to see that. There do not need to be explosion-laden mass brawls every week.

However, I suspect a spin-off will be more likely.

The Peter David X-Factor rumor sounds good. Outside of Havok and Quicksilver, none of that team really require much in the way of expensive CGI.

Daredevil some Intrest since it appears they are partly based on frank miller's
stuff.I don't really know the other characters and I question doing defenders
without dr strange.Daredevil Is only one I will be paying attention to.

I am fan of director's cut of daredevil but problem was they tried to do too much In 1 film.In theory a daredevil TV show would be much better. Now if only Jeph Loeb let's the showrunners do good show.I haven't been that Impressed with marvel Tv since he took over as head of marvel TV.Avengers;Earth's mightest heroes took dive when he took over.

The best thing a x related show could do is take characters unlikely to show up
In films and use them

well, to be honest, Quicksilver would be another Flash, and since he is getting his own show, its not like his powers cant be done for Tv. And Havok is not that hard of an effect, and any network could do it from time to time, with little doses of action on each episode.

So technically, Fox could use plenty of different characters, both familiar and new. But yeah, a spin-off is a better option, the movie actors on the movies, and the tv actors having their time to shine and be developed.

Cameos are always welcome, tho. Fans would love it, so Fox wont waste that chance.

The current rumor is that it's based off of PAD X-Factor, which is a great choice. Madrox, Monet, Siryn, Wolfsbane, Longshot, awesome.

Sounds great. X Factor would make a fantastic weekly show. They should set it present day, opening up roles for the mutants seen in DOFP that may not been seen again. I'm sure some original series stars would be glad to appear in cameos too.

Could be awesome.

just read Peter David X-Factor #1 and I loved it, great concept, great team of characters, Madrox is great, and I found the comic quite original, the way it started and introduced the characters.

Im officially excited about X-Factor being the actual show, cant wait to see Madrox, Siryn, Monet or Rahne making their debut on tv and on the actual universe. fingers crossed this gets confirmed in the next few weeks

They'd kind of have to set it in the future timeline since Siryn was just a little girl in X2. Unless they're going to use the time-travel thing to ignore/retcon her appearance there.

Well she was never called Siryn! maybe not even credited as her. And it's not like she had more than one or two brief scenes

not only Siryn, but Madrox also appeared in X3.
Im sure Fox will sign new actors for both, but this has a 'present time' vibe all over it.

I would definitely put this show on FX on the weekend during primetime. AN hour-long X-series....heaven!

I would want the team to already be established and seasoned...coming off the heels of a big loss/disappearance/mystery forcing them to find their footing. Some members would've left and some new members would join. The event would be the driving main plot of the first season.

I see a small team of adult X-men (Cyclops, Kitty, Iceman, Psylocke, Beast (in
human form) and X-men-in-training, who act as new or secondary members of the team.

If this is all true...casting is going to be what makes or breaks this show. Highly anticipating confirmation about all of this...

As much as I want to see the OT cast headline a TV show where they would get more screentime and development. Its very unlikely. because it would look like they are demoting them (and the characters) to TV because they don't want to make another film with them at the moment. Also, the prestige of seeing them again in the big screen would be lost since people would see them anyway every week on TV. So I think they need to do X-Factor first, before do a New Mutants-esque show, to test the waters.

The Peter David X-Factor rumor sounds good. Outside of Havok and Quicksilver, none of that team really require much in the way of expensive CGI.

how about Multiple Man? His mutant powers would require a lot of CGi/green screen.

not only Siryn, but Madrox also appeared in X3.

They could easily ignore the Siryn/Madrox that appeared before. Also, they now live in a different timeline, so it doesn't matter especially their role in the film wasn't so significant. Anyway, I don't want to see Siryn, she's Banshee 2.0. I Want Multiple Man, M, Strong Guy, Wolfsbane and Rictor.

tv show about magnetos children? maybe X-factor? if they want to keep the quicksilver actor they could even bring havok back

Quicksilver on Tv? just when Warner premieres Flash? mmmm.... not liking the idea of this Fox reaction, if true.

X-Factor would be much better, with a whole new team or mutants, and set in our world/society. The past is fine for the current trilogy, but Fox should open all doors, not stiking to just the past.

But if they're going to use Quicksilver than they have no choice but to place it in the past and line it up with the current crop of movies. It would be pretty smart for them to use Quicksilver/Evan Peters as a bridge between the movies and television show. He's already been making a place for himself on television with four seasons of American Horror Story under his belt.

I like the sound of it having a female lead as well - hope that means it's Monet St. Croix.

I doubt it's a response to flash more of a response to the others making TV shows and quicksilver because of his popularity after DOFP
