INT – WHITE HOUSE – MINUTES LATER
Sinister and his gang are in a full blown battle with the agents and cops now. They are fighting back forces to and fro. Gambit is throwing his staff around like a master thief, tossing people back with it, jabbing them with it, all while throwing kinetic charged cards into fray. He’s not as rusty as Storm thought he was, that’s for sure. Callisto is speeding around the battle field, taking out more than one at a time. She stops and snaps the neck of a man before speeding off past Sabretooth is literally tearing into the insides of these men and the look on his face says he’s loving it. Pyro is singeing his foes with his flames. Sinister is digging through the chest while this is all occuring. Obviously his men are holding the guards back from him.
SINISTER
Yes, yes.
A soldier’s body Sabretooth has finished off falls onto Sinister.
SINISTER
Watch it you clumsy oaf! I’m concentrating!
Sinister literally shrugs the body off in disgust as Sabretooth growls and leaps further into the battle.
CUT TO:
INT. MUIR ISLAND – LAB - SECONDS LATER
Beast, Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Wolverine are the only ones in the room now. The others have retired to the jet.
STORM
This…this just opens up more questions. It explains nothing. I mean, where is his body? Where is Moira? Comatose bodies just don’t walk out of hospital rooms!

Yeah, unless they wake up.
BEAST
That isn’t very likely. The vegetative state would have rendered his limbs almost completely useless.

And would the Professor’s brother actually do something of this nature?

Magneto and Emma sit close together, each studying different things. Emma is focusing on the doorway and Magneto on a girl. The girl is Polaris.
MAGNETO
You know back there? Telling them that, I feel as if a great deal of years and year of burden is off me. I can step forward in my life now.
Emma looks up at him. His focus shifts from Polaris to her.

Scott, we’ve got to go. Nathaniel’s found it all. They are in D.C. right now.
The group share concerned looks.
