X-Men: The Last Stand on DVD October 3

I haven't had the chance to pick up my copy yet...prolly on my way home tonight. BUT, at the moment, I only have enough money to get at minimum the standard edition at Wal-Mart (had a fancy lunch in SF today )

So I was wondering...on the whole is the bonus disc worth it? If not i'll prolly just cave and get the regular edition tonight...if it is, I guess I could wait til' tomorrow or somethin'

excuse me, im not over my cold. lol. Question...watching it in french...so how did they translate the english to french if they kept the actor's voices... hmm ... just curious.

It seems like it would depend on whether or not you have an interest in the history of the comics. If you buy it expecting some extra material on the movie, that's not what you'll get.

I haven't actually seen it, but that's just what I've been reading. Hope this helps!

Godammit!! I finally make my peace with this movie and actually considered buying the dvd but now going through all these threads about 21 one this and 10 that and Walmart this and Special Edtion next year that, I am just not going to buy anything from 20th Century Fox ever again.

Wow, I'm glad to find out that the bonus Wal-Mart DVD i bought wasn't an isolated fluke.

I popped in the bonus disc this morning and was like, "WTF!!!??? Why is this about the history of the comic!? The back of the package says it's supposed to be two features on the movie from the Fox Movie Channel!!!"

Fox better issue an explanation and/or refunds and/or apology.

my theory here is that since the double disc edition will be coming out sometime later and it's supposed to have the stuff we were supposed to have gotten from this extra disc from Walmart...Fox had the content of the disc changed at the last second, keeping all the original casing and DVD label, so as to save the content for the 2 disc edition...

it's still bs....

I like the bonus disc, but only because I never saw the tv specials from the Fox Movie channel, and the packaging is nice. It was only $13.99 at my Walmart, so I can't really complain, lol. Still...it was false advertising on all ends

Same here. The documentary was interesting, just not accurate with packaging.

yeah...it didn't cost any more than the without it...but i wouldn't have gotten up so early to get it had i known it was gonna be just a comic doc.

I got 21. And I was actually happy with the content of the bonus disc, despite it not being what was advertised. Oh, well. It's all personal preference, I suppose.
