FX--FOX extended networks is owned by FOX along with everything else FOX related.

Hence the logo with the searchlights.

believe me, that is not stupid. Be sure there must be something related to money in this. At least distribution of money.

All the more reason to keep somethign X related going. I just hope they put a lot of care and good craftsmanship into Wolverine and not make some junky piece of crap.
 
I'm really not interested in Wolverine. I'd much prefer an X4 maybe with the younger, new generation mutants! I am looking forward to the Magneto movie though.
 
The 'difficulty' with Wolverine is that it's a prequel, and thus doesn't take the franchise any further forward; it's filling in the past. They could market it as Weapon X: The origin of Wolverine, to keep an X in the title.
