Screw the DVD. I already made this mistake with the Lord of the Rings trilogy, not going to make this mistake again with X3.

I had warning with LOTR...I heard online that the extended versions were coming, then I saw Peter Jackson at a Q&A when the first movie was still in theaters, and he said everything that was going to be on the extended DVD.

So I rented the first DVD releases of all them instead!

Theres a scene between Xavier and Jean talking inside Cerebro. I watched X-men 1.5 a few days ago and I got CHILLs after she kisses prof X on the head... and then I got even more chills knowing what happens between the two of them in the future ... I had goosebumps too.

Oh and with X-men 1.5, allows you to watch the deleted scenes while your watching the movie so they flow.... lol. But the only scene that stood out for me was the scene with Jean and Prof X... man. Powerful... stuff.

you see thats why i think they should do an extended version of x1. that scene was very good and belonged in the movie to show the relationship they both share. virtually every deleted scene in x1 should've been left in the movie!!!!!!

What were the other deleted scenes? And how many minutes did they add altogether to the movie?

mostly involved Rogue and bobby... there was one scene of Scott and Logan ... Scott wanting Logan to put on a suit

There was an extended version of the bedroom scene between jean and Logan and later on with Scott and Logan towards the end of the bedroom scene.

There's also a deleted scene from X1 after Rogue's first class at the mansion, she thought the Professor could cure her, and Storm explained that it doesn't work that way.

That might be an interesting scene to put back, considering the events of X3.

So what are the odds of FOX releasing an Extended Cut (Director's Cut) of X3? There were a lot of things in the TV spots, and a lot of things talked about on this forum, that were not in the theatrical release, so I'm really hoping they have a Director's Cut!!

I'm guessing they may even add that episode of PUNK'd, since it was Ratner who played the trick on Hugh.

-rogue talking to storm (gave more development to storm, showing her motherly side, gave more of background explanation to rogue)

-bobby bringing rogue to her room (showed their growing relationship)

-jean and professor in cerebro (dont even need to explain this one)

extended cyclops/wolverine confrontation at his room (gave more depth to cyclops not making him look like such a dick in that scene.)

-cyclops and wolverine suiting up (very good scene with both cyke and wolverine. )


all these should have been left in x1!

^I wouldn't be surprised if they waited to release it until the Wolverine spin off is about to be released in theaters.

I also love the extended scene with Wolverine and Rogue on the train--where he says that he'd tried to kill himself but couldn't because of his healing powers, and what happened when she had touched him was the closest he'd ever come to dying, and he realized he didn't like it.

That was an awesome scene, I have no idea why they cut it.

Does anyone else see a box set in our future??

I agree that every deleted scene should be left in the movie. especially the Jean and Xavier scene... EMO OMG... Im getting goosebumps just thinking about it. gah...

Yeah...I remember he had this line about finding out he didn't like being that close to dying after all, and couldn't believe they cut that from the movie.

I thought the whole point of the X-Men 1.5 DVD was that it was going to be a director's cut of the film with those scenes put back in.

What the hell happened with that idea?

You do get an option of watching X 1.5 with the deleted scenes.
