I'm sorry ... can you point out one time when I was offended by a gay 'joke'? There is a difference between a joke, like what I posted and what others post, and a comment made that is deragatory (sp?). I have not seen any 'jokes', as you call them, on here. Most of the time what I have seen, and get upset at, is when someone uses the word 'gay' tp describe something they dont like. Or use it as a way of offending someone because they make a comment that you, or someone else, dont like.

I have laughed at MANY gay jokes on here. But the times you are referring to have NOT been jokes.

As far as 'heterosexuals' not wanting to think about the comment I made, what about those of us that aren't heterosexuals that have to sit here and see people 'heterosexuals' post manips of the X-Women that clearly have sexual overtones written all over them. Or those that post those images of the characters cleavage over and over and then animate them so that is ALL you see. There are many of us on here that do not want to 'have to think' about that either.

So before you try and publicly attack me for something you think you are right about, you might want to get your facts straight first.

Getting tired of this 'avatar specifies sexuality' thing ... why is it that people think if you have Jean Grey in your avatar that you are gay ... or a girl? Come on! Are we that close minded? This is an X-Men thread ... she IS part of the X-Men. Who the hell cares who we have in our av's, or why for that matter. And people REALLY need to stop using the term 'gay' so freely around here! We are not going around saying man ... that is so hetero! Get off it!

If you do not want to be offended by a joke or a comment then don't make comments like 'I would definitely be up for some NY vs Mets porno'. That's provocative and you know it. You say you're sick and tired of things, well I'm sick and tired of gay people who want everybody to know that they're gay.

Who cares? I don't go around and announce that I'm straight. This is a forum about the X-Men nobody wants to know that you're gay/straight or have any problems, they just want info about the movie. We all deal with things in life.

Your initial attack post was asking about me taking a joke. Now you are talking about jokes AND comments. Make up your mind. And for saying if I dont want to be offended then done make comments, that just does not make any sense. Any comments I have made have been towards peoples rude comments, defending myself and others. I do not see anyone going around making it clear that everyone knows that they are gay. Sure, they make comments that are clearly 'gay' but so do the straight people. Like commenting on someone's boobs or how hot Storm looks or whatever. That is the same thing that I did with my post and what others do. My post was no different than ones I have seen posted about Dania's cleavage or the girl that was speculated to play Emma's cleavage. Or the fact that some straight guys see a nipple of someone's in a picture that was posted. That is no different. And yes, I have seen posts VERY similar to the one I posted about what guys would like to see with certain girls or images. But I guess that is ok because you are straight. I mean, that is what you are saying isnt it? Here is a prime example of what I am talking about.

Actually, you just did. And you did it by bringing this crap up. Yes, this forum is about X-Men. But it is a messageboard first. Full of all kinds of people and all kinds of opinions. As a member, you should be open minded to all things when you join a board full of so many people from so many countries. We are able to post what we want, within reason, because we have that right. It is very clear what your opinion is on this matter and that is why you have taken it upon yourself to attack it in this forum.

If you dont like something, ignore it. Look past it and pretend it is not even there. But dont sit there and think that you are better than anyone else or that you can easily control other people.

My post did not go into detail or anything else. It was just a statement, like so many others I have seen here. And I still stand by it. I did nothing wrong. In all actuality, all I did was respond to someone else's post that said that they almost confused the word 'promo' for 'porno' in the thread title. So it was not like I just came in here and said that for no reason. And it was a joke... hence the smiley face.

As for people coming to a forum about the X-Men and just wanting info about the movie, that is part true. But I also like to think that people like to come here for conversation about others things as well. To meet people with similar interests and make new friends. This is an X-Men forum, but so much more to others as well.

I am not going to say anymore to you because I do not want to get reprimanded by a mod because you cant deal with something.
