Yet Another School Shooting.

Man, it seems like these are going to just keep happening over and over again and America is just ok with it

Not okay with it but those who are so paranoid to lose their guns (they won't) are too afraid to enact any legislation that might make a difference (we'll never know if it can't be enacted).

Why wasn't anything done in September? He made a threat and nothing was done? Any threat that is made in school shouldn't go unnoticed.

I honestly can't get irate over this anymore. It just happens so often these days that I'm just flat on it. Nothing gets done besides people talking and it's just full on refusal to try anything.

Hmmm...I went to a HS school where shootings were common before white kids started doing it. The way it was eventually solved at my HS was with random locker searches and metal detecting wand searches. It wasn't like it happened all the time, and people were being searched everyday. Yet that along with an increased police presence helped calm things down and school shootings dropped to nil. Maybe all schools should incorporate this.

I'm going to live in fear every day when my kids get into high school.

It is almost bizarre that this happened one town over from Columbine. One of those injured was actually taken to hospital in Littleton.

Increasing gun laws should happen, it should be a bit harder to obtain one but if the kid wants to shoot up a school, he's going to. There's no amount of gun prevention that'll stop that. If they can't get a hold of a gun, they'll find some other way Increased cop presence and all of that is definitely the better way to go but not every school can do that.
It's a much more complicated situation than oh make guns harder to obtain.
