Technically, this IS a contest thread with Marvel is judge.

i did the flash real quick, and i have him running in. i think thats what he intended to be seen, see how sups cape is blowing one way, and wonder womans hair is blowing the other.

hmmmmm

it will look alot better once wonder woman is there.

Don't suppose you have any links to help with colouring in illustrator? I know how to do it in Photoshop but not Illustrator.

Great job, but I'm afraid it covers too much of the goddess that is WW. :(

Unless of course this is just because WW is not colored yet and she's intended to be in front, in which case it is ok. :o

P.S. What do you plan to color Batman? His costume arguably has the most color changes out of any character in that piece.

i explained ww in my thread n not here, the blur will be behind her, so you will see her in all her glory!

oh and about batmans colors, dont know yet, probly current. saving it for last besides the back ground, so well see.

And, of course, Batman, anticipating everything has his cape held secure against the slipstream.

Good eye, tho, I didn't even think about how WW's hair went one way and Sup's cape the other, but I think that's because I spent the glory days of Image (the early 90's, young ones) seeing too many artists have hair and capes blowing willy-nilly for no reason other than it "looking cool."

Btw, I've been plugging away at this one myself, but I'm having a bit of trouble with the light sources. The way I look at it, it's obviously the JLA satelite, in some kinda observation room--the moon, cloudy shapes, and number of small "x's" out the window prove this... But, as far as I can figure from the pencils, there it either one "spot" light source for the foreground (out of the picture frame, roughly above Hawkman)--Picture the JLA equivalent of a bare bulb, lol--or there are multiple light sources going on.

Batman's left in shadow [But GL's Ring is a secondary light source, probably responsible for the small rim higlights on the left of Bat's cape and cowl], Superman's right in shadow, Manhunter is lit directly from above, Flash is lit from the front, Hawkman is being lit from above-front Diana has no strong shadows at all, the gold of her costume reflecting all ambient light, which softly reflects from her marble-perfect skin, making her seem to glow in her own right [ok, that was overblown--she has no shadow, tho.].

Seriously, am I just wrong, or does it look like each character has his or her own special light?

It's the fact that the artist made it a point to give SG errect nipples that really makes this picture somewhat wrong...

"Point." "errect." Heh. Me am funny. Also, me am another one more post closer to a siggy.

yeah, its almost like he drew them all on different paper, then when doing the final tracing, put them togeather, not even noticing this stuff.......ww hair is just a theory, but the light source is all over the place, but then i remember, there in space..........should be a big deal, but you never know. i just do character to character till i get it done. taking longer then i thought, bah.
