Let's see...Rock-N-Wrestling had the Hart Foundation, the British Bulldogs, the Killer Bees, the Rougeaus, Demolition, the U.S. Express, Shiek/Volkoff, the Dream Team, the Islanders, the Rockers, the Brain Busters, the Mega Powers, the Young Stallions, Bundy/Studd, Strike Force, the Can-Am Connection...who am I forgetting?

The Attitude Era had the Hardyz, Edge & Christian, the Dudleys, the New Age Outlaws, Kaientai, Too Cool, the Acolytes/APA, the Rock 'N' Sock Connection, the Brothers of Destruction, Kane/Mankind, the Headbangers, T&A, the Holly Cousins, DOA, the Mean Street Posse, the Godwins, Owen/Bulldog...again, who am I forgetting?

I'm old, so I'm going to lean towards the Rock-N-Wrestling Era. There's certainly a ton of talent in both eras, but it felt like only a handful of the Attitude Era teams had any real staying power. The Rock-N-Wrestling Era featured some of the all-time great tag teams.

I forgot to mention Owen and Bulldog. You forgot Doug Furnas and Phil Lafon. I liked both eras of tag teams but it was more consistent in the beggining.

You both forgot Money Inc one of my favorite tagteams, oh and The Bushwhackers. I say rock n wrestling had the better tag teams. Attitude era had some great ones too.

A for favorite specialty match? I always loved the falls count anywhere match.

My favorite specialty match would definitely be WarGames, I would kill to see Paul Heyman Guys (Punk, Lesnar, Big Show, and let's say Dolph Ziggler) take on Rock, Cena and Team Hell No in a full-on WarGames match 2013.

I also have a strange affinity for BattleBowl.

I thought of Money Inc, but I guess I consider them to be more of a New Generation Era team than a Rock-N-Wrestling Era team. I definitely forgot the Bushwhackers, though.

With the long-rumored War Games dvd supposedly coming later this year, I'm hoping they bring back the match.

That could be one of the benefits of Triple H's rise in power behind the scenes. I read somewhere that he's a big fan of War Games, so maybe he's pushing for its return.

Admittedly I got some of the time frames confused. I mentioned Bill and Bart Gunn , but I think that team ended before the attitude era was in full effect.


I just watched the 1995 Royal Rumble. There weren't many big stars in the match and it was rushed , but it's still worth watching because of Michaels and Bulldog.

I'll admit, while these tag teams were odd pairings on paper, seeing them on screen with each other was just pure gold at times:

1. Rock N Sock Connection
2. Team Hell No
3. Charlie Haas and Rico
4. Booker T & Goldust
5. Kane and The Hurricane

WWE Champion CM Punk visited the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Torrance, California this week and trained with none other than television legend Ed "Al Bundy" O'Neill.

The 66 year old television star has training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for 22 years, and was awarded a black belt by Rorion Gracie back in 2007.
