World YOUR Avengers.

Main Team:
Captain America (Leader)
Iron Man
Thor
Hawkeye
Black Panther
Ms. Marvel
Spider-Man

Alternates:
Wolverine
Beast
She-Hulk
Black Widow
Mockingbird

Main Team:
Captain America(Leader)
Iron Man
Thor
Ant/Giant Man
Wasp
Hulk (he might of only lasted one issue in the original comics but he is a founding member in my book and nothing beats the original line-up)

Secondary Members:
Black Panther
War Machine
Vision
Scarlet Witch

Okay, first up, a Marvel Universe only team:

Captain America
Thor
Iron Man
Hulk (Banner)
Captain Marvel (Danvers)
Hawkeye
Vision

My dream, shared universe team (if you've read Simonson's Thor run, you'll remember that great scene where Thor meets Lois and Clark)

Core team:
Captain America
Superman
Iron Man
Batman
Thor
Wonder Woman
Flash (Barry Allen)
Hawkeye

Alternate team:

Green Lantern (Jordan)
Hulk (Banner)
War Machine
Captain Marvel (Danvers)
Quicksilver
Green Arrow
Aquaman
Shazam

I like the current team in the TV show, minus Black Panther.

Captain America
Hawkeye
Hulk
Iron Man
Thor
Wasp
Ant-Man

Although I wouldn't mind taking Thor or Hulk out to give it more a "team" feel, but I have no problem with them being in it either. I think they are handled better in the TV show than the movie (as in less predictable).

I expect people to rage over this:

Captain America
Iron Man
Thor
Spider-Man
Wolverine
Hulk

Main Team:

Iron Man
Thor
Ms. Marvel
Black Panther
Quicksilver
Spider-Man

Reserves:

She-Hulk
Hawkeye
Captain America
Vision

I prefer the term Bro-Fest .

Captain America (leader)- there is no other when it comes to the iconic leaders in comics
Hawkeye (no powers)- a great personality, as well as always cool visuals
Beast (brains/science)- always plays the role of the brains wherever he is, but he is also the heart of whatever team he is on
Red Hulk (powerhouse)- I just like having him around, and adds a bit of new flavor
Quicksilver (speed/*****ebaggery)- always good to have a speedster around. Add in his up and down past, he may be a good character
Ok, now this last one is what really may get me flamed...
Kitty Pryde (required female)- there is bound to be some big shake-up after AvX. I say put her on the team. Under a new creative team, she can once again play the eyes and ears of the reader, being introduced to the new team/series as an outsider. Plus; she is just a great character.

Reserves:
Iron Man- I love him, but for some reason I like him more on his own than as an Avenger. Just bring him in when necessary.
Spider-Man- one of my all time favorite characters, but I prefer him on his own, and like it more when he bumps into Avengers and helps out, or runs to them for help.
Dr Strange- only go to him for magic/cosmic threats
Hercules- another fun, powerful character to bring in and out
