Transformers YOUR BIGGEST WTF moments, including Plotholes, etc, etc of the TF movie THREAD!

You talking about SM3?

The Goblin fight with Peter was the ONLY fight i actually enjoed...and i saw the damn thing on a NBC preview, weeks before the movie even came out. :cmad:

same here, and once i saw that on the NBC preview, i thought the other fights are going to be way tighter, apparently not:csad: :o

Also one thing I couldn't take seriously is the Decepticon police guy I forgot the names. When he was Yelling at Shia and asking if he was Ladiesman217 or whatever. I thought it was too funny and it kinda ruined a cool seen for me.

Yeah. damn..looks like a phone.:csad:

*runs and hides in shame*

You wouldn't happen to have a screenshot of Blackout's face close up from the final battle, would you? It's when he turns around and see's Tyrese and Lennox lacing him with lasers for the F-22's.
lol

Ya sorry they really didn't use the decepticons or autobots names enough for me to catch on.

The continuity in the Anthony Anderson donut scene. First the plate has no donuts, then one whole one, then no donuts again. Bad editing.

Kind of like the scene where Prime broke the car with Sam and Tutturo in it. Sam had a sweatshirt on, then on his shoulder, then in his hand and then on again.

That whole scene was so annoying, with the pee joke, and everything else.

And why are people complaining about Spider man 3 in a Transformers forum? Did that movie really upset people that much? If anything, this movie had similar problems to that, but it managed to be fun where as Spider man got bogged down a little too much.

Yeah SM3 bothered us that much, and yes there were similar problems, but like i said before, this is the first time TF has been brought to the big screen, so as with X Men 1 and Blade 1, there's bound to be mistakes. Those mistakes were all improved on with those movies sequels. Spiderman had 2 movies prior to it, so they knew what worked, and what didn't -Spiderman 2 (awesome) proved this, yet the get totally sloppy, throw the old formula out the window...and the result is Spiderman 3.

I really think the SM3 makers faultered that movie because of OVER CONFIDENCE. They had the world hooked on the franchise, so they thought they could throw us anything and we'd bite. It's kinda like when your dating; your on your best behaviour and wanna look your best whie your courting the other person, but as soon as you get them emotionally hooked, you let yourself go because you figure they'll stick around anyway. That's what the Raimi figured with Spiderman 3, shame on him.

Spiderman 3 sucked ass ... When I first went to see it it was OK. But the second time , damn! I walked out of the cinema once Harry and MJ started cooking. I've seen Transformers three times now ... Still amazes me.

Thinking about MJ and Harry doing 'The Twist' makes me wanna put a gun to my own head.

Can't wait to see it again. I'll probably go Tuesday.

Yeah Golgo13! And while your at it ... shoot me aswell. Damn , I really hate Spiderman 3. Dunno why :( I actually wrote a positive review on my ( now offline ) website. On the second viewing things just got worse.

Transformers on the other hand ... is something I've been looking forward to since January. It never stops to amaze me. The score , voice-overs and effects ... and lets not forget the actors , really make this movie on of the BEST summer-blockbusters of 2007!

I was in the theater opening night telling the spiderman fan to shoot me. I made a makeshift pistol out of a carbonated drink and an unpopped popcorn kernel. Honestly I felt that bad about SM3. Transformers wasn't that bad, just when I pick it apart it gets slowly worse.

sacrifice |ˈsakrəˌfīs|
• an act of giving up something valued for the sake of something else regarded as more important or worthy

I don't think he ever had to do that, though he may have been willing to do so if it came down to it.

If you recall Megatron smashed the part of the building that Sam was standing on leaving him falling to his death. Optimus saved him in the nick of time. Just because Optimus saved him, it does not make Sam's sacrifice any less significant.

For me it was the too brief fight between Prime and Megatron, and how Megatron whipped Prime in their fight.

Did Prime ever have the upper-hand in the fight? Did he even land a punch? All I can remember was when he blasted Megatron (with an arm cannon I guess), but Megatron promptly responded with his own shot that was much more powerful.

That part of the movie was a big let down for me. I mean, would it have been too much to have Prime land one good punch that sent Megatron flying into a building?

He did backhand Megatron Once as Blackout was approaching. Other than that and the cannon blast(that really didn't do anything) Megatron owned the battle. But that was OK with me because I really Liked Megatron portrayed this way, he was a true badass. And he would have to be to lead the type of following that he did. His regime damn near destroyed all of the Autobots on Cybertron.

I seriously think no one was able to sit through watching the secomd time.

Bumblebee with the rest were protecting the allspark but why were they heading to downtown Los Angeles only to create more havoc and destruction, what was the purpose of that?

I'm glad you asked this question. The autobots and sector 7 didn't take the allspark to the city to cause more destruction. They took it there because it made more sense to try and hide the allspark there temporarily than trying to hide it in the desert while the decepticons were following them.

They had to get the Allspark out of the open (ie the desert) where the Decepticons could easily get at it...a city provided plenty of cover. Obviously it was a risky, maybe even foolish move considering the collateral damage but time was of the essence and there simply wasn't enough time to come up with a more cohesive strategy.

All they knew was that Megaton was awake and he was after the Allspark. So best thing to do--get it as far away from him and the decepticons as quickly as possible.

Wait? The Autobots had no Exit Strategy? Why couldn't they just scan a jet and fly off into space once they had the Allspark like Starscream did.
