I don't mind Megatron beating up Prime... eventually. But they could have at least shown the darn battle. They made it seem like Prime- god bless his heart- got taken out no problem. That's the problem... we didn't really see Megatron and Prime fight!.... WTF?

I can't believe more people aren't pissed off about this. It's like everybody filled in the fight with their imagination or something. This is THE fight everyone was looking forward to for months.

1986: Megs and Prime basically KILL each other.

2007: Megs smacks Prime for about 30(??) seconds and then some teen kills the big baddie by sticking a cube inside his chest.

This being my first post I would like to say the SHH forums are a place where I can share my love for superheros without being judged.

Anyway like a few other people my WTF moment of the movie was the death of Jazz. Growing up watching the G1 cartoon show Jazz was one of my favorites and it's too bad he was killed off without really getting to know him.

Overall I enjoyed the movie and although there are quite a few things I would have done differently I know that they have to save things for future movies.

Hopefully in the movies to come they'll devot more time to developing the roles of the Bots themselves and not so much time on human development.

boyscout I googled it and that title you gave me it is a fake name for the movie I distinctly heard a person running saying that it was a giant lion (that was one of voltrons incarnations I believe) and then I saw a giant lion hand landing in the middle of the street ( also used in voltron ) hmmm

You know , you should see the movie more. Perhaps that'll aid them in making the battle in Transformers 2 more worth your while. Every dollar counts. Sorry , my bad.

And just for the record, I gave the flick a 6/10 in the review thread.

I *WAS* entertained. I just think the thing was soulless. Thus me complaining about scenes that could've done a better job at conveying the notion of an epic struggle between two factions.

What we got instead was tools beating the crap out of each other for 20 minutes.

Maybe Jazz was as annoying to them on the whole trip to Earth as the spanglish stereotype guy was to the soldiers in the helicopter at the beginning. They're both dead. Makes perfect sense.

Only thing that really bothered me was the ending, Starscream was getting chased by the military, then they just show him flying away at the end, what the hell happened in between that allowed all the Autobots & the army to forget he was still out there?

because Tyrese had caught video of Blackout destroying the base....Remember he said it was as if the thing looked at him and knew it was being recorded. It made sense to me that if Blackout was trying to keep the military from knowing about them they'd kill everyone on the base(like he did) and then get after the ones who have a pic of him(which he tried by sending Scorponok after)

The humans would've eventually found out about their precense, they had no idea what the hell the Decepticons were after and would've never been able to find them since they can transform into anything they want.

Not saying it's a gaping plothole. Just... why bother?

yes but they werent ready to be revealed at that time.

I love how transformers are their own unique vehicles typically depicting their personality (which you saw non of in the movies) anyway. But I didn't care for the fact they could change on a whim. I like how in the comics from what i remember they were damaged or something to that affect and they used spare parts. I dunno to be honest I forgot. Wait, do you mean just a standard transformation or when they scan and reshape into earth vehicles? Because I thought he was refering to standard transformation.

A computer from the Ark named Teletran 1 send out a probe to scan for lifeforms. Since it is used to non-organic life it scanned all the vehicles and mechanical/electronic objects. Once it scanned all this data, it went about "repairing" the Transformers to their respective modes.
