Megs came to Earth so he can turn all of Earths technology into an army using the Allspark..thousands of years ago...when Earth had no modern technology. And if he had succeeded in possessing the Allspark, and hadn't been frozen in the first place, microchips/modern technology wouldn't have been around anyway (In TF-verse) because Sector Seven would never have got their hands on him. Isn't that like asking what comes first, the chicken or the egg..?

I don't know if this has been answered already (sorry, not about to go through several pages worth of posts to find out), but Megs came to Earth to find the Allspark. Prime just pointed out that if Megs got his hands on the Allspark, then he would set out to create an army for himself.

As for the chicken and the egg, the egg came first since dinosaurs were laying them long before there were any birds.t:

Just back from my second viewing. It's about Starscream this time.

I found that at the movie very end, when we saw Starscream escape into space he's still in his F22 earth mode, seeing Megatron's death and the destroy of the Allspark, it must scare the **** out of him that he even forgot to put off the earth mode which is totally unnecessary then.

Forget that the All Spark came here, how did it get off of Cybertron? The planet has gravity, so someone had to shoot it out of orbit, right? Whomever that was...what a dick!!!

I am sure in his protoform he's also got an alter mode like an alien jet or something just like Megatron who doesn't give a **** to use an earth mode as undercover.

I was just thinking about why would Megatron know English if he's been on ice for the past hundred years or so. Studies have shown that people who are in comas can still hear the people arround them. That being the case, what if Megs just spent more than 50 years being surrounded by people talking English and eventually learned it by listening to them?

Just a thought.
