Your drinking lifestyle.

I have definitely been under the table before.. It's not fun at all..

I've never drank before, but people keep telling me I need to because it will make me happier. The problem is, I think I'd be more of the depressive drunk than the fun loving kind.

You never know what kind of drunk you are until you get drunk. Though, that might not be best. A lot of your posts are about how you aren't very happy in life. If you are a happy drinker, you'll like it more than your real life and you might end up a possible alcoholic. Unless you aren't as depressed as you seem, in which case, drink your heart out when your ready.

Or you'll be an angry drunk, and then you loose teeth in fights you don't remember having.

I think that's what I'm afraid of, that I'll become dependent on it. I tend to be one of those people that when they find something they like, they stick with it and want it all the time.

Then don't.... Just avoid it, seem to be doing a good job so far? Unless you're really young..

I'm 22 and I've never really had any desire to drink. I just find it a little interesting because the older I get and the more people I know, it seems like just about everyone drinks. I almost feel like I've become a rare breed.

Don't worry about it. You've gone this long without giving into peer pressure, and alcohol is a depressant. Don't ever use it to try and forget how "bad" ones life might be.

People say that, but I think that's boos**t. I've never been sad while drunk.

Depends on how you're feeling when you start drinking. It's why I'll NEVER have a drink if I'm in a crummy mood, slippery slope. It's def classified as a depressant though.

The only thing that has ever made me even consider drinking or getting drunk is that I've heard that it removes a lot of your inhibitions, and I feel like that might make me more animated and I would open up more and really speak my mind, but I'm not too sure if that would be a good thing. I think I would end up pissing off a lot of people.

They do say a drunk mans words are a sober mans thoughts. :/

I tend to drink at my home or a friend's house. Sometimes at a bar if someone else paying, cause that **** is too expensive.

I don't drink and never have been a drinker. I manage to screw things up plenty without the aid of alcohol.

Yeah, people say I need to loosen up sometimes and usually the top two suggestions are I need to get drunk or I need to get laid.

I get together on the weekend with friends to wind down. I have never been able to get drunk when I'm sad or down. Its like im my own buzz kill. I have to be in a good mood.

Usually I can finish a fifth before I'm drunk.

Oh and alcohol poisoning is an evil *****.

I know of a friend who saw her brother die in his father's arms from alcohol poisoning back in junior college. She never was the same after that.

I've never drank and have no plans. Part of it is because I was born with a liver disease. I had surgery when I was 3 months old, which was actually late to have it for my illness. I've been very fortunate in that I haven't had any problems at all. However, my liver is slightly enlarged and has some wear-and-tear from the illness and surgery. It's not in my best interest to make it worse by drinking, especially since I will likely need a liver transplant at some point in my life.

That said, even if I didn't have this condition, I wouldn't be interested in drinking. I see my friends come back to our room hammered, I don't see the point of it, they barely remember what they did and have a ****** night trying to sleep. If they just went to a nice bar and had a couple drinks, I might go with them.

I like to relax and have a drink by myself a few times a week. I drink a lot more when I'm out barhopping with friends, though. And yes, once in a while, I get drunk (never intentionally though). What can I say? I'm in my mid-20s, and I like to have fun once in a while.

I haven't been drinking much this Summer though, and that's because I haven't had the time or energy to go out as much (personal reasons).

My go-to beer is Yuengling or Killian's Irish Red. And as for liquor, I love me some Jack Daniels. :)

You know.....there is a way you can bypass the liver........but it's a method reserved only for serious alcoholics.

i cozy up to a bottle of red on the weekends. wines my drink.

Most people only get alcohol poisoning once because they never want to experience it again. All about knowing how much you can tolerate before it becomes a medical emergency.
