You gotta vary the poses! I have several poses and expressions. Spices things up a bit
*p.s. So gonna dig around and post some later now!![]()
Yeah I have a few friends who did that too. Lucky bastards. Don't you find it hard without a Union card though? Most 'student nights' wouldn't' let us in without them!
(5 pints of cider, 6 double vodka redbulls and 3 shots of sambuca), which was kind of a usual night out back then...
I'd say the levels go like this:
Tipsy (talking more, giggling)
Tiddly (slightly clumsy and saying some silly things)
Liqoured up (becoming more confident, suggesting doing crazy things)
P****d up (actually doing crazy things, rambling on about complete nonsense)
Hammered (falling over, slurring, being loud, over reacting to everything, getting emotional)
Under the table (incapable of doing anything but vomiting or passing out)
I'd say I get hammered once a month, p****d up once a fortnight, liqoured up at least once every week and somewhere between tiddly and drunk twice a week.
Unfortunately I find it impossible to stay at tipsy, because when i'm tipsy I always want another drink
I have unfortunately been to under the table more times than i'd like![]()
Most people only get alcohol poisoning once because they never want to experience it again. All about knowing how much you can tolerate before it becomes a medical emergency.
I'm 22 and I've never really had any desire to drink. I just find it a little interesting because the older I get and the more people I know, it seems like just about everyone drinks. I almost feel like I've become a rare breed.
Not a lot. I do most of my drinking in restaurants.Do you go to pubs?
Again, not a lot. I can think of about a million other things that I'd rather be doing on a Friday/Saturday night.Do you go to clubs?
Where's the fun in that?!Do you prefer to drink at home?
Dinner and drinks. But not before shopping and/or a movie. What's a normal night out like for you?
Other things. I have way more fun when I'm sober.Does weekend mean getting drunk for you? Or do you prefer doing other things?
Absolutely. Yes, we know that you're 19 and over. Get over it.Do you hate when people post on FB about drinking and posting images of them being drunk with friends.
I was raised by an alcoholic and decided I never wanted to touch the stuff. So I've never tasted alcohol and don't really plan to. I've recently grown a little curious to try some wine but I don't think I ever will. I've gone 30 years without ever drinking, why start now?
This was one of the reasons why a friend of mine told me I need to start drinking and why I still don't want to, because basically the idea was that everyone we know nowadays drinks, whether it be occasionally or every week. And I've been told that if I hook up with a girl that likes to drink, then it won't work out because eventually that will become an issue.I was always more of a very rear occasion social drinker (usually just a drink, never got drunk) up until last year...
I started seeing this girl last year, who was a bit of a bar type, an I got more use to hanging out at bars with her (I would still only have a beer or two throughout the night, never enough to get drunk) or not at all, an would be the driver for the night
it actually wasn't until after thing ended between us, that I started actually drinking to get drunk (a friend from work who knew what I was going throw, convinced me to start going out to the bars, again) their attentions were good, thought that's what I need to get over things, but, it just make things worst, an I may of went abit over board a few times...
the last time I went out I kinda made a *** of my self (kinda of a eye opener) anyway, stop after that, and haven't since (kinda made it my, new year's resolutions, for this year... but, hadn't been drinking for a few month before then, already) so, been nearly a year, now
I am not saying drink is bad, its just not for me, an I was drinking for all the wrong reasons
sorry, for ranting on like that, I don't mean to be a downer
(I guess it just feels good to get all that off my chest, I don't really talk about it, thanks for listening, or atleast reading as the case may be)
Why drink when you can....BLAZE!
Okay, I gotta ask all you happy, well adjusted fairly sober people...
What do you do at the weekend? What do you do for fun?
I'd say the levels go like this:
Tipsy (talking more, giggling)
Tiddly (slightly clumsy and saying some silly things)
Liqoured up (becoming more confident, suggesting doing crazy things)

I might have to dig a few classics out myself to compare!t:
Pssh...lightweight.
Replace the cider for beer, the VRB for Jagerbombs and the sambuca for tequila/aftershock and maybe the odd dabble into absinthe and you've got my night out.
The more and more I read your posts mate, the more I'm seeing a kindred spirit!t:
That list is pretty much spot on. I tend to get pissed up more often than not, but I have been known to get ridiculously emotional during nights out too. Getting teary-eyed whilst ordering your 4 in the morning McDonalds is not recommended.
Your parent may have been an alcoholic but that shouldn't deter you from ever trying the stuff.
Do you have issues with impulse control or addiction now?
That's something that I can never understand, and really irks me when people do it to me. When people always say you "have" to or you "need" to do or try something simply because its not common to not do it.I don't see why there's any need for me TO try the stuff. Will I be a better person for having drank a beer? Of course not, it wouldn't matter in the slightest.
