From what I've seen, probably Over the Hedge...but it seems that the cinemas are littered with too many of these films...I don't mind when they are decent...but meh.

I'm surprised I have not seen any of them.

Tagged for later,'06 isn't over yet.
We still have Happy Feet and Flushed Away.
I haven't seen but two on the list but Monster House was fantastic.

There wasn't much need of saying "computer animated", these days :whatever: :csad:

I can see what you mean, out of the 400 plus movies released so far this year, 7 computer animated movies, less than 2%, is WAYYYY too many!

It's time to stop whining about how many CGI movies there are and start looking at them as just peices of cinema, and this year we've had a slew of good CGI movies with only two that really tanked review-wise, and one of those I think got shafted a bit(The Wild)

I voted for Cars though Monster House is REAL close, with Over the Hedge a few steps behind.

Cars was awesome, Over the Hedge was good, and Ice Age 2 = meh.

Haven't seen the others.

It's so cheap now to make CGI movies that most of them just suck... whatever happened to goodness like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, & Shrek?

Am I the only one who's a tad disturbed that four out of those six movies are about talking animals, and only one of them actually has human protagonists?

The Incredibles and Cars were both great, in my opinion, and don't forget TMNT next year. It might seem like they're getting worse, but to me, it's just because there are more made nowadays.

There are still some good ones being produced.

I'd say Over the Hedge, but I have yet to see Monster House and Open Season.

Forgot The Wild but alot didn't like that movei because it was simular to Madagascar. I liked the Wild because i don't much care for Ben Stiller.
Over The Hedge Was my favorite then Cars this year awe yeh and Open Season. My all time favorite's are Shrek 1, Ice Age 1 and Toy Story.

Why is this disturbing, animated films tend to do things that live action can't do as easily, people forget that 90% of all the classic cartoon characters we all know and love are talking animals, I don't know why it's being decried now.

It is good to see animated films like Monster House and The Incredibles though, that are doing humans.

These movies aren't cheap to make, most of them cost 60+ million to put to screen, and this years batch of movies have hardly sucked as shown by the reviews where 5 of 7 of them have received good to great reviews.
