Everything it could do is phenomenal, but the neon orange red is a bit much for a car of the night, for me anyways.

Actually, several of the first-season episodes DID have substantial night time (ex: the first appearances of the Riddler, Catwoman, Joker and Freeze), although little that actually involved the Batmobile; there were some "night" shots with the car when West and Ward were supposed to get out and chase somebody or get ready for a Batclimb, etc., but other than that most "evening" shots of the car were generally day-for-night tints of existing stock shots with the headlights enhanced so that they looked like they were glowing.

The West Batmobile is by far THE best and the coolest. The least efficient in battle, but its just so cool. Im a huge fan of the red trim.

I hate being a band wagon jumper and I know it is the farthest from the comic, but the one I would most like to drive is the Tumbler. Plowing over obstacles, including automobiles, just sounds fun.
Second would definitely be the Burtonmobile, then Westmobile (which really is a cool car) followed by the other two.

Don't get me wrong the tumbler is a really cool vehicle, it just doesn't seem like a batmobile to me, and I have a feeling if there is a third film, that batmobile will be the ultimate one.

I saw a diecast model of 60's West Batmobile the other day at Toys R us for 30 Beans.Pretty snazzy.I think Welly makes it.. I still want that Diecast Tumbler too.

Ive been upclose and personal with the Original Batmobile and Adam West at the Chicago auto show way back in the eighties.That thing is 5 times cooler in person.In fact theres a museum of classic TV show cars somewhere in the Illinois area (they even had the Batmotorcycle and sidecar)I wonder if its still around...
