Holy sh&t, its at Planet Hollywood in Times Square right now? I live in Queens, I gots to go there for my birthday and take a pic of it, thanks a lot Batmatt, you da man!!!! Theres too many aweosme Batman 89 scenes to choose from but I guess my favorite is the Batwing going up against to the moon, when that happened, me and the audience in the theater went nuts!!!! we were thinking "yeah, go kick there asses Bats" There is no other better superhero movie than this, maybe Superman and Supes 2 can compete with it, but thats about it, hope Begins makes a worthy opponent to this movie.

I'm flattered, and ur welcome. Hope u saw it, its in the display case with other famous movie guns

The Flugelheim Museum/Batman to the rescue. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I can watch it forever and never get bored, and the exictment and rush is always there for me. Amazing scene, just amazing. :)

Mine HAS to be when Batman and Vicki Vale are in the Batcave and he's explaining the Joker's plan to her and Vicki says:

"You know...a lot of people think you're as bad as The Joker."

Then Batman says the most hilariously ironic thing ever.

"Ha. He's psychotic."

That makes me laugh everytime even though it's intended to be a deep look into Bruce's mind. The pot is truly calling the kettle black.

Yeah thats a great scene, where you can only see his dimmed eyes . Both men are psychotic, just Batman is a good psychotic and didn't go around killin people:)

Okay, okay, INNOCENT people!(although that scene in particular could easily been construed as wreckless endangerment, since people were stil on the streets, trying to flee the sceen.)

Another favorite scene of mine, that isn't listed, is the Joker commercial. It's just set up so beautifully, with the newscaster busting out in laughter and falling out of her seat with a big Joker grin on her face. Then Joker comes on, acting like a nut(how else would he act?! Buh dum bum, Ching!), with that cheery fifties music on, sounding like an educational film, and he's got the cardboard cutouts of the dead models!!
'I know you're wondering, where do I get these fine new items. Well that's the gag, folks! Chances are, you've bought 'em already!' And THAT, I think is classic Joker, for anyone who says the character in the film isn't faithful to the comics. He proves himself to not only be a certifiable nutjob, and a murderer for the sake of his own amusement, but also that he's intelligent.

Grissom: That you sugarbumps?

Joker: It's me.... sugarbumps.

Grissom: Jack? Thank God you're alive! I heard you'd been..

Joker: FRIED? Is that you heard? You set me up over a woman. A WOMAN! (s^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^s) You must be insane.

(Grissom reaches for his gun)

Joker: Better be careful.

Grissom: YOUR LIFE WON'T BE WORTH SPIT!

Joker: I been dead once already. It's very liberating. I guess you could call it.. therapy. (s^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^^_^s)

Grissom: Jack, maybe we could cut a deal.

Joker: Jack? Jack's dead, my friend. From now on you can call me...
(Lifts hat)
Joker.
(Grissom gasps)
And as you can see, i'm a lot happier.

( Clown music starts playing, Joker shoots Grissom several times, while jumping around.)

And that, is a classic scene.

Quality. The whole film, really. Suppose it'd be easier to just copy and paste the whole script? I think more than a few of us have the entire movie memorized.

Oh, I do, I do!!! And now, a scene from Batman:

Knox and Vicki look for Commissioner Gordon;

Knox: Commissioner Gordon? Hello?
*switches on light*
Knox: Living Room, Dining Room, Arsenal. Would you check out this stuff!
Vicki: The man gives to humanitarian causes and collects all this . . .stuff.
Knox: Yeah, the woman like for his big charity balls
Vicki: And don't forget his very large bankroll.
*Bruce Wayne Walks in*
Knox: Just remember, the more they have, the less they're worth.
Vicki: Then this must the worthless guy in America
Knox: Oh look at this! He must have been . . .king of the wicker people! *turns to armor* Oh, and where'd this come from?
Bruce: It's Japanese.
Knox: How do you know?
Bruce: Because I bought it in Japan.

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen, thank you!

Batman '89 features the series as a whole's best fight sequence: the one with Batman and the lead henchman in the belfry (yes, the sweaty black guy). Just awesome, pulse-pounding brutal stuff. To think that Batman could get his ass kicked so very royally and yet come back and still retain his badass cred.

I love the part in the batcave with Vicki Vale..

vicki vale:your not exactly normal are you?

(then the way Batman turns and approaches her just awesome!)

batman: This isn't exactly a normal world is it?!!

JOKERS FIRST APPEARENCE JUST LOOK AT MY SIGNATURE.

Nice Job, but you left out some stuff:

Knox: Commissioner Gordon? Vale I think he went in this room.
*opens door*
Knox: Commissioner Gordon?
*switches on lights*
Knox: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! Living Room, Dining Room, Arsenal. Look at this stuff! Who is this Guy?
Vicki: He gives to all these humanitarian causes and he collects all this . . .stuff.
Knox: Yeah, He probably does it for chicks, they like his big charity balls.
Vicki: And don't leave out his very large bankroll.
*Bruce Wayne Walks in*

Vicki: Then this guy must be the most worthless guy in America

Vicki: I have NO idea?
Bruce: It's Japanese.
Knox: How do you know?
Bruce: Because I bought it in Japan.
Knox: Who're you?
Bruce: Oh. Sorry. Bruce Wayne
*Knox and Wayne shake hands*
Knox: Alexander Knox
Bruce: Right...Oh I read your work. I like it. I like it alout
Know: Oh thanks, can I have a grant
Bruce: Ha
Vicki: Vicki Vale
*Bruce and Vicki shake hands*
Bruce: High. Bruce Wayne
Vicki: Are you sure?
Bruce: Yeah...This time. I've seen your photographs from the Corto Maltese haven't I?
Vicki: Right.
Bruce: You know you've got a wonderful eye.
Knox: Yeah...Some people think she has two
Vicki: This is an amazing house. I'd like to shoot it sometime
Bruce: Well
Butler: Mister Wayne, we need to open a few more cases of the campagne would that be alright?
Bruce: Sure, go ahead...Oh, umm, open up what...six? Six?
Knox: Yeah yeah, Six is good
Bruce: Okay yeah. Six, thanks. Anyway, are you going be staying in Gotham for a while?
Vicki: Um, I'd love to. I'm intrigued by Alex's "Giant Bat" Story, so I...
Bruce: Oh yeah. Right, the bat. The Batman. Hmm, Yeah. That's a little bit lighter after the Corto Maltese, isn't it?
Vicki: And what do you do for a living?
Bruce: Well, I...
Alfred: Sir, Commissioner Gordon was impelled to leave.
Bruce: Alright, thank you...
Alfred: VERY unexpectedly, Sir...
Bruce:...Will you two excuse me?
Alfred: Um, I think perhaps...This way sir?
*Bruce whispers*
Bruce: Oh yeah. Um Alfred, they need somemore wine down in the front room, and someone named Mrs. Daly needs a copy of the menu...Oh and a...Give Knox a Grant.
*Bruce and Alfred leave*
Knox: Nice talking with you, Wayne...The Rich. You know why they're so odd? Cause they can afford to be. And look at this mirror. Maybe it should be Bruce Vane. He He

End Scene

Whew!!!

Actually I think my favorite part was towards the end when Batman confronts Joker. Just the dialouge and the tone of the scene was cool.

Batman: You killed my parents.
Joker: Wha? What are you talking about?
Batman: I made you * points to Joker*, you made me first *points back to himself.

Joker: Hey, Bat-Brain. I was a kid when I killed your parents. When I say I made you, you gotta say you made me. I mean, how childish can you get, huh?
*Joker puts on Glasses*
Joker: You wouldn't hit a guy with glasses would ya?
*Batman punches Joker over the side of the Cathedral*

Yeah, that scene was pretty awesome, I also like this one:

Joker: Gotham City...always brings a smile to my face
*Joker looks at Newspaper*
Joker: "Winged Freak,...Terrorizes..." Wait'll they get a load a me! WHOOOO....WHOOP...WHOOP...HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!

I adore the first scene....I'm a complete sucker for the classic hero entrance and this was about as good as it gets. The overhead shot looking down at Batman's shadow looked like it had been pulled straight from The Bat Whispers, which I thought was kinda neat too.

Also, and I know this hardly sets me apart from the crowd, but pretty much any scene with Jack is bang on the money.

Just a note of correction. The Joker did NOT say, "Better be careful", after Grissom reached for his gun. He said:

Joker: "Don't bother."

my favorite part is at the end, on the cathedral.

Joker: "Beauty and the beast."

Joker: "Mind you, anyone else calls you beast, I'll rip their lungs out"

that is classic joker.

and the dialouge between batman and joker is very deep and dramatic. but the part that really gave me that uber-cool shiver down my back was when batman is looking out on the city with the signal in the sky at the end. the victorious elfman music really made that scene awesome. best superhero movie ever.

A tie between the The Flugelheim Museum and the parade. Jack made both of them scenes for me.

no man, the best seen is when that Batmobile shows up for the first time

"get in the Car"
"Which Car"
the batmobile's cockpit slids open

man thats classic. awsome car

How could I forget to post my altime favorite scene from Batman?

The music builds up slowly. We see the Batmobile cruising down a back road in the woods.
Vicki: Where are we going?
Batman points ahead. He looks at Vicki, and smiles slightly. Batman presses harder on the gas. The Batman theme swells to life as the Batmobile streaks towards the audience. A barrage of scenes as the Batmobile blazes through the road.
Vicki tries to get a closer look at Batman's face. Seeing this, Batman turns on a single light, keeping Vicki at bay. Vikci screams as the Batmobile hits, but miraculously goes through, a stone wall. Vicki looks back to see the wall slide back into place as the Batman theme booms loudly and ends just as the Batmobile cruises to a stop.

I LOVE that scene!!! The music is Track 10 on the Batman score: "Descent into Mystery"
