Your Favorite Thrillers?

Not only favourite thriller but my fave film of all, Vertigo

Arrival is awesome, guess it qualifies as a thriller/mystery.

Looks like three solid thrillers for 2017, one traditional thriller, action thriller, and one sci-fi thriller. Can't wait to see them!

Any other thrillers out there you're looking forward to see?

I saw Dressed to Kill (De Palma) for the first time earlier this year and it was phenomenal. I still giggle in disbelief at the ending.

Blow Out is great too. I also just saw De Palma's documentary and it made me want to seek out Body Double.

Don't Breathe was a pretty fun thriller this year. It's in my top five of the year right now but that's probably due to a lack of competition. Still, very entertaining. It features one of the most horrifying... "weapons" I've seen in a movie.

Great suggestions David H, I saw BODY DOUBLE again and must say it's a great film, love the opening and the music.

DON'T BREATHE is one of the best movies this year, just relentlessly committed to it's story and execution, long time ago since I've been impressed and entertained in equal measures - double thumbs up!!!

Time to wrap up 2016, best thriller of the year, 8 hours of pure pleasure!

The greatest movie of all time, Jaws!

I also love the Fugitive (1994).

ARLINGTON ROAD. It's just very grounded and very eerie.

Can't agree more, Jaws is awesome, and Fugitive is great as well!

Shutter Island is another great thriller, reminds me a bit of Identity which is another brilliant film.

A great classic, perhaps on the verge of what can be classified as a thriller!

One thriller that was really good that I never expected to be was Red Eye. Short, sweet, and I loved the chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy. That was a great little thriller.

Just off the top of my head, some of my favorites are (in no particular order):

Jaws 1 & 2
Collateral
Psycho (original)
Se7en
Man Hunter
Silence Of The Lambs
Misery

And I'm not sure if this counts, as it skirts the edge between being a Thriller and a Slasher, but Black Christmas is also a personal favorite of mine.
