Your Favorite Tony/Pepper Dialogue!!

The dynamic that RDJ and Ms. Paltrow bring to Tony and Pepper are central to my enjoyment of the Iron Man franchise and the MCU as a whole.

I thought it would be enjoyable for us to share our favorite dialogue / banter / quips shared between them! I'll start with a favorite that is often quoted at home...


Hammer: She's going to do a spread on me.
Pepper: Well she certainly did *quite* the spread on Tony last year.
Tony: She did a story too.

I love the entire Tony-Pepper-Coulson Stark Tower scene in The Avengers.

"Give yourself some credit... Give yourself 12% of the credit."
"12%?"
"An argument could be made for 15%."

"I'm going to pay for that comment about percentages in some subtle way later, aren't I"

Yeah! My wife and I end up quoting the hell out of them and talking over a lot of their stuff now. It's getting a bit obnoxious to be honest, but they're so awesome.

I think I liked the banter best when she helped him change out his first arc reactor, what with the Operation game references and such. IMO they are the gold standard when it comes to a superhero and ingenue in film. Reeve and Kidder are a close 2nd along with Evans and Atwell.
