I'd probably choose one of those towns from Pokemon. Then become a Pokemon trainer. I just figure if I choose the Marvel Universe I'm not going to get a power magically but I could become a badass Pokemon trainer.

I'd go for the marvel 616 universe, in my hometown. Then buy something radioactive off ebay and hope to get some neat super powers as radiation gives everybody superpowers at some point or another. If I get nothing, then at least I'm pretty far from new york where all the crazy crap starts.
