as x-men fan i am excited for all of them.i hsve a bit of concern for deadpool 2 n hw cable and domino will be done.characters who to be blunt are more important in larger x-men universe for old time fans like myself.but we will see next year.

as for dark phoenix while i agree it's likely kinberg is directing can we be excited for another x-men team film being made and dark phoenix being main plot and wait till we know for sure kinberg is directing and who is returning
from apocalypse besides sophie turner before going neggative.

I'm actually hyped for all of them. I'm a x-men fan since I was a little kid until now that I'm old and will forever be.

I really hope for a few things.

In X-Men Dark Phoenix I really hope that they do right by Jean by showing her true potential not only with her phoenix powers but also with her default powers like telekinesis and telepathy. I want to see her display of powers as high as ever and beating the x-men. But I also want to see the x-men fighting Dark Phoenix in a scene well done. I really hope they do a fight scene longer than the one we got in X-Men Apocalypse.

As for X-Men New Mutants I hope they got the characters right specially Magik and I keep wondering if they'll reveal that she's Colossus sister or if they'll ignore that completely. Maybe there could be a new version of Colossus in X-Men Dark Phoenix, a younger version but I kind of doubt cause he's currently being used in the Deadpool movies.

And finally as for Deadpool 2 I want to see they getting Cable right. And I keep wondering if they'll address or make a joke or something about the fact that Cable is Cyclops's son.

As returning characters from X-Men Apocalypse we all can be sure that Xavier and Cyclops will return for sure. I can't imagine another Dark Phoenix movie without Cyclops. And they wouldn't recast a new actor to play him.

So, Cyclops and Xavier are guaranteed. I think that right now for sure sure, only Jean, Cyclops and Xavier.

Everyone complained about the fact of Cyclops only having 2 scenes in X-Men The Last Stand.

New Mutants. I like them, Josh Boone is a good director, and I'm curious to see where he takes it. "Stephen King meets John Hughes" sounds potentially really cool.

Deadpool 2 is next after that.

They all interest me. But I suppose if you want to talk flat-out "excitement," then it'd be New Mutants and Deadpool 2. Right now I'm more, curious, about Dark Phoenix than anything.

The point is they are a different team of mutant.

Its not like they are called the young mutants.

But that's the point. There's no old team, there's just the new team and the... newer one.
But yeah, I suppose in the end it doesn't really matter as long as the movie and the characters work. It's just kind of sad that certain characters will never be able to meet.

Dark Phoenix im the most excited abut just because it involves my favorite characters in the XMen, now im hesitant at how the movie will be handled and if Kinberg is directing im curious as to how this will all work out. Either or honestly im very excited for all the movies coming out.

I'll definitely give DP2 a run and if others sound good, I'll do the same. Retreading ground for Dark Phoenix sounds like a pretty lame idea at this time. There's other stuff out there and they ought to use it. Hopefully everything will be better than LS. That was a stinker.

Hopefully Dark Phoenix will be the last X-Men film set in the past. Then after that they could move to the present days with X-Force, Deadpool and post-Logan X-Men featuring Rogue, Gambit, Iceman, Storm and etc...

With Kinberg attached as writer and director, it would probably be worse than LS.

I'm excited about all three, New Mutants, however, makes me the least nervous.

Deadpool has a lot of hype, there are a dozen things that can go wrong with Phoenix.

New Mutants has potential to hit the sweet spot of Logan and Legion, offering something kind of new, while not being bogged down by preconceptions and continuity.

It should be Deadpool 2 as I love the first so much but I am slightly worried if the second can catch the same magic as the first plus New Mutants will be shiney and new and holds a bit more interest. I sort of know what to expect from DP2, v excited for Cable still though as the casting is potentially great.

Dark Phoenix, doesnt seem like it has a lot going for it at the moment but hopefully that situation can improve.

I seriously don't understand why there not being an "all" option is so controversial. Just pick your favourite.


1.) New Mutants
This has real potential. I think the proposed tone will be really refreshing if Boone can pull it off.

2.) Deadpool 2
Really enjoyed the first and Brolin as Cable is an exciting addition. While the new director is a solid choice, I'm still a little concerned about how the sequel with fair without Tim Miller.

3.) Dark Phoenix
Don't care for another Phoenix story or Sophie Turner as Jean, so it's hard to be at all enthusiastic. The idea that Simon Kinberg is about to take a second attempt at a story he already butchered once is chilling. I would be curious to see what footage could be harvested for editing purposes though.
