It's depressing, isn't it? WM used to be a showcase for hot, fresh acts. Now the company relies on 40-somethings and 50-somethings, who often hurt themselves in the process, to pique interest in the biggest events. I have a sinking feeling that 10 years from now, we'll be seeing Orton and Cena in similar roles as Brock and Taker have now. For that matter, I wouldn't rule out HHH having a couple of Rumble-to-WrestleMania title reigns in his 50s.

I doubt Cena is going to be competing when he's 50. I think he'll end up having a schedule similar to the Rock a decade from now in which he shows up only once a year, two at the most.

Orton doesn't seem like the type who will stick around for that long. I think when his WWE contract ends he's retiring for good.

On a different note, I have to say Alexa Bliss is impressing me more and more with her mike work every week. She can come off so naturally now, like she's not reading off a script, I don't remember the last time I've witnessed a woman wrestler cut heel promos so efficiently and cleanly.

This is the strangest analogy ever, but the way she plays off a rational straight man (like Daniel Bryan or Becky), she's almost like a young female version of Bobby the Brain Heenan.
