What ten games are you most looking forward to next year?

Poll is multiple choice.

Uncharted 4
SFV
Ratchet and Clank
Mass Effect....although Im almost certain this wont make it in 2016

Some of those games aren't guaranteed or even announced for 2016 yet and there are some announced for 2016 that are not even on the list.

My top 3: Uc4, Me4, and persona 5

Top 3:
-Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
-The Last Guardian
-Persona 5

These look the most inspiring.

Runner-ups:
-Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
-Street Fighter V
-Overwatch
-Mass Effect: Andromeda
-Final Fantasy XV
-Horizon: Zero Dawn
-Mirror's Edge: Catalyst

Doom 4
Gears of War 4
Hitman
Mafia III
Mass Effect: Andromeda

And maybe The Division

SF V
Dark Souls 3
FF XV ( Hopefully )
ROTR
ME 4

Can't even think of 10 games I'm looking forward to, or willing to buy.

I'll say Uncharted 4 is #1, Lego Marvel Avengers is 2, and any other potential Lego Games make the list.

10. Mirror's Edge Catalyst
9. Street Fighter V
8. Star Fox Zero
7. Hitman
6. Fire Emblem Fates
5. Firewatch
4. Nier: Automata
3. Horizon: Zero Dawn (I feel like I've been waiting for a game like this for a long, long time)
2. Scalebound
1. The Legend of Zelda U

Games that interest me but didn't quite make the top ten: Gears 4, Mass Effect, Doom, Ratchet & Clank, Quantam Break, Final Fantasy XV, and The Last Guardian.

Games that I want to look forward to but am skeptical of:

No Man's Sky: I want to love this concept, but I have a feeling this game will be a huge disappointment

Persona 5/Genei Ibun #FE: A series I've always wanted to get into, but I have just never been able to for some reason. I'd like to at least try both.

The Witness: A lot like No Man's Sky, it seems like a really cool concept, but could also be really boring and tedious.

Rise is a 2015 game, even if the PS4 port is 2016

well ROTR is a 2016 game for me. :o :oldrazz:

  • 10. Mass Effect: Andromeda - I'm foolishly really looking forward to this despite Bioware's best efforts to the contrary.
  • 9. Street Fighter V - This would probably be higher on my list, but I know myself well enough to know that I suck and won't end up playing as long as I would like, so I'm trying not to get too excited.
  • 8. Star Fox Zero - I thought this looked much, much better the last time they showed it than when they first revealed it. I'm cautiously optimistic.
  • 7. Doom - Other than a few minor reservations, I think it looks super fun.
  • 6. Uncharted 4 - Despite loudly and frequently proclaiming I'm not a huge fan of the series, I do actually like it and I'm surprisingly looking forward to this one quite a bit. The fact that it looks much improved over the previous ones in every way doesn't hurt either.
  • 5. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - My hype for this is based almost entirely on how much I like the first and third one. I hope Human Revolution wasn't a fluke.
  • 4. Final Fantasy XV - I've been looking forward to this since it was very first announced as Versus. I don't have huge expectations for it or anything I just think it looks rad and quite refreshing after the XIII series.
  • 3. Zelda Wii U - This looks like the best Zelda since Wind Waker and it would probably be my number one if not for the massive (and dubious) delay.
  • 2. Dark Souls III - It's Dark Souls. Also, Miyazaki has made some very cryptic and interesting remarks about this one.
  • 1. Persona 5 - Persona 3 was really, really ****ing good and I count Persona 4 among my all time favorites. This one looks to continue the outstanding pedigree Atlus has created for themselves.

Mainly anticipating Mass Effect. Other interesting titles are kinda wait (for a price drop and clearing my backlog) and see games. Although I backed Yooka-Laylee and preordered Street Fighter V so I guess those two as well.

1. Zelda wii u- Zelda is my all time favorite video game franchise and this is the first Zelda game in HD that is not a remake.

2. Ratchet and clank- My favorite sony franchise

3. Star fox zero- It has been a while sinces the last star fox and this one kind of looks like the SNES one that was great.

7 - Tekken 7
6 - Street Fighter V
5 - NS: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
4 - Mighty nº 9
3 - Final Fantasy XV
2 - Uncharted 4
1 - Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon looks like another kind of great. I feel like I've been waiting exactly for that.

1. Uncharted 4
2. Horizon: Zero Dawn (looked really interesting and I can't wait to see what the story is)
3. Mass Effect: Andromeda (is this really coming out in 2016?)
4. Homefront: The Revolution (the gameplay I saw looked very good, and I hope the trouble with its developer didn't hurt the game too much)
5. No Man's Sky (I have a feeling this will be a disappointment, but I'm excited to try it out)

Others I'm looking forward to: Firewatch, The Last Guardian, maybe The Division, Lego Avengers, Mirror's Edge

Some good games coming out this year. Looking forward to a lot of em:

Hitman
The Division
Mass Effect
Gears 4
Uncharted 4
Street Fighter V
Dark Souls III(even tho Iv hated every DS game, I did love Bloodborne tho)
Deus Ex.

And that's not including the unannounced stuff like whatever Star Wars title EA has cooking up as well as the next entry in the Battlefield series. 2016 looking gooood

Horizon: Zero Dawn.. The e3 demo of this game was NOT enough. I need to see more!

Uncharted 4

Persona 5

Tekken 7

Mass Effect Andromeda

No Man's Sky

Ratchet and Clank (thirsty for a GOOD platformer!)

Far Cry Primal

Final Fantasy XV

Homefront: The Revolution

And that's not including the unannounced stuff like whatever Star Wars title EA has cooking up as well as the next entry in the Battlefield series. 2016 looking gooood

The 2nd new star wars game is confirmed to be releasing next year or are you just assuming? I wonder if it'll be the Bioware title or the Viceral one

I saw a video that said EA's 2016 open world game will be Star Wars related.. So fingers crossed.

solid list, i totally agree with Me4.

1. Uc4. Graphics aren't the only or most important thing, but I am a sucker for good graphics and Uc4 in my opinion looks like it could be the best looking game on a console thus far, hands down. Not only that, but I like to play a game with a good story. I love Uc2, lots of fond memories with it and I can't wait to see just how ND (Nathan Drake/Naughty Dog's) story ends.

2. Me4. Similar to what Soapy said, I am not over the Me3 ending and I never will be, BUT, just like Uc2, I got a lot of fond memories playing Me2, that game I honestly feel like it changed my life in gaming forever. So as bad as Me3 is, still doesn't undo the greatness of Me2 and the ME series. Very interested to see where the series goes.

3. Persona 5. As I said before, I like a game with a good story. I just discovered Persona this year and apparently it is a very story driven game. "Social links" makes me think a lot of the things you decide to do will make a variety of things happen, and I'm still keen to know just how the "persona" works and operates and whether you're a hero, anti-hero, or a small time villain.

4. Tekken 7. I grew up playing Tekken and I stopped caring about it for a long time due it going multi-platform and generally being disappointed with Tekken 6, but what's most interesting to me about it is the story. And Tekken 7 promises to give closure and conclude the long running Mishima clan curse saga. Plus, there aren't a lot of fictional Arab/Middle Eastern characters held in a good light, and Shaheen seems like he will be a good guy.

5. Horizon: Zero Dawn. I have to admit, I really want to play the game just to know about these robot dinosaurs. Are they completely manmade, or are they organic, and just totally clad in metal like MetalGarurumon? Also, Aloy looks really appealing to me because of how she isn't sexualized. Honestly, I'm not fond of how females are sexualized 90% of the time in video games.

6. Street Fighter 5. I honestly have not cared about Street Fighter since Street Fighter X + Alpha, but the fact that it is an exclusive makes me interested in it. Plus, the crossplay. And who knows...with the addition of Akuma in Tekken 7, maybe Nina or some other Tekken character will show up in it.

7. No Man's Sky. Similarly to SF5, its exclusivity makes it more attractive to me, but I do also like space stuff. Just wish I knew if it'll be a Minecraft or if there'll be an actual campaign.

8. Yakuza 6. I really should just put Yakuza 0 or Xtreme coz those are the ones that'll actually come here next year, but Yakuza 6 will be the first game in the series built from the ground up for this gen. Yakuza 3 imo was a great game, especially its story.

9. Dreams. I don't even know if it's been announced for 2016, but I'm a big fan of MM, I love LBP especially LBP2, and even though I want an LBP4 from them, I'm sure whatever Dreams will be will definitely be a fun time.

10. This last spot I'll give to Crackdown 3, Scalebound, Quantum Break, Cuphead, and Halo Wars. These are games I won't get to play but still interested to know more about. Crackdown I want to really see how the "cloud" delivers, Scalebound to me is the most intriguing Xbone exclusive, Quantum Break imo will be Xbox's next big IP next to Halo, Gears of War, Forza, Fable and Titanfall (sorta), Cuphead is just super unique, and Halo Wars is the next game in the Halo series.

I don't know if I have a top 10 yet.

Mass Effect: Andromeda
-Hope it's good. Kind of keeping in the dark about it. But I'm hoping it does well.

Zelda Wii U-Finally a next gen Zelda, it's been a while. I really hope it's better than Skyward Sword

Doom 4-Looks like a great throw back to days of old. The original Doom games kept me up playing for weeks on end.

Uncharted 4-Some of the best action/adventure games around. Cannot wait to play the next adventure

Deus Ex-Mankind Divided- Loved the original and Revolution, superb games, and I know I will not be able to put this one down.

Dark Souls III-Because.....it's Dark Souls. Cannot wait. Loved Bloodborne but Dark Souls was much better. Cannot wait to jump back into it.
