The informal end of the seventh generation of video games is less than two months away, and I think it's time to get a Game of the Generation competition going.
What I want you guys to do is list your TEN favorite games from this generation.
When you make your list you need to follow these rules:
I'm not just being uptight with the rules, they are in place because I'm sure there will be more nominations that can fit in a poll, so I'll be awarding points to games based on how many times they're nominated and where they sit on lists.
Example:
1. 10 points
2. 9 points
3. 8 points
4. 7 points
5. 6 points
6. 5 points
7. 4 points
8. 3 points
9. 2 points
10. 1 points
Your list doesn't technically have to be in order. You can put it in whatever order you want, I don't care -- but I'll still be giving points based on the example above.
It also doesn't have to have ten nominations. You could put 100 on there if that's what you want to do -- but I'll only be counting the top ten.
The 40 games with the most points will make it onto the poll that I'm make later on. Although if enough people are waiting for some current-gen games that haven't been released yet, I'll gladly postpone the nominations.

When you make your list you need to follow these rules:
- Eligible games include any games that came out on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, DS, PSP, or any PC game from 2005 to present.
- Updates to older games are ineligible.
- Cross-generational games are also ineligible, which is why I'm starting the nominations process now instead of waiting for games that won't come out until November-ish.
- Your list needs to have ten games and ONLY ten games on it. No trying to squeeze multiple games into one slot. (e.g. counting an entire series as one game or having a "tie")
- Your list needs to be in order. (i.e. First game on the list is your most favorite, second on the list is your second favorite, etc.)
