I'd love to see Robert Downey Jr. and Jennifer Lawrence in a Scorsese film.

Same goes for Ryan Gosling and Michael Fassbender in a Nolan film.

Jessica Chastain in an Ang Lee film

Tom Hiddleston in a David Cronenberg film

Idris Elba in a Michael Mann film

Paul Dano in a Mike Cahill film

James Woods in a Quentin Tarantino film (this could have actually happened)

When? James Woods is a badass.

He is a proud owner of a BMF wallet.

Marion Cotillard in a David Lynch movie
Elizabeth Olsen in a Quentin Tarantino movie
Cate Blanchett in a Paul Thomas Anderson movie
Kate Winslet in a Coen brothers movie

Elizabeth Olsen in a Coen Brothers film
Peter Capaldi in a Quentin Tarantino film(it writes itself)
Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston in a Christopher Nolan film
Bryan Cranston in a Wes Anderson film

Apparently, when QT wrote Reservoir Dogs, he did it with JW in mind for one key role. Scuttlebutt says it was Mr. Orange, but I believe it was Mr. White.

I was about to say James Woods in a Scorsese film, but I completely forgot he was the pimp in Casino.

Christopher Nolan in a Christopher Nolan production, written by Christopher Nolan and directed by Christopher Nolan

Daniel Day-Lewis/Uwe Boll
Cate Blanchett/Michael Bay

Brad Pitt/Tim Burton
Edward Furlong/Quentin Tarantino
Terence Hill & Bud Spencer/Quentin Tarantino
Nick Nolte/Quentin Tarantino
Christopher Lee/Terry Gilliam
Elijah Wood/Martin Scorsese
Ralph Macchio/Quentin Tarantino
Johnny Depp/Quentin Tarantino
Johnny Depp/Steven Spielberg

Johnny Depp/Martin Scorsese

+Louie C.K./Edgar Wright - Being arguably the funniest comedian in the world (right now), Louie C.K. should be destined to work with one of the best comedic directors of all-time, Edgar Wright, in a comedy similar to either film in his legendary Cornetto trilogy.

+Christian Bale/The Coen Brothers - Imagining Bale as a cold-blooded killed similar to Javier Bardem's Anton Chigurh or Peter Stormare's Gaear Grimsrud already sends chills down my spine... so make it happen.

+Michael Shannon/Nicolas Winding Refn - If Refn can make Albert Brooks seem like the most coldest and cruellest villain in the world, imagine what he could do with directing a guy like Shannon as either a hero or a villain. Maybe these two should consider making a Punisher film. :cwink:

+Nicolas Cage/P.T. Anderson - I really wanna see Cage break out of his terrible streak of bad movies, so maybe Anderson can give Cage the starring role he deserves that could put him back in Oscar contention.

+Robert Downey Jr./David Ayer - I'd like to see Ayer direct Downey in a Harsh Times style film where he plays a character who's a little crazy and unhinged just like Christian Bale's Jim Davis character from that film (especially after a film like Tropic Thunder, I think it'd be fun to see Downey playing a bit of a villainous, but at times funny, loose cannon type character, it'd be a nice change-up from all the Iron Man roles too).

Anne Hathaway in a Tarantino movie would be fun and amazing. She'd eat it right up, with the witty and playful scripts. Nolan is one of my fave directors and she's worked with him twice now, which is great.

I was about to say James Woods in a Scorsese film, but I completely forgot he was the pimp in Casino.

When James Woods heard that Martin Scorsese was interested in working with him, Woods called Scorsese's office and left the following message: "Any time, any place, any part, any fee."

Johnny Depp and Tim Burton would be an awesome collaboration.

Gary Oldman and the Coen Brothers.
Gary Oldman and Quentin Tarantino.
Gary Oldman and David Fincher.

Gary Oldman and Quentin Tarantino.

That kind of already happened with True Romance, but I'd definitely love to see Gary Oldman in a full blown Tarantino flick.
