I had a kid come up to me in middle school. Asked if one of my friends was alright. I said "sure", and asked why. Apparently after school the day before he was riding his bike, and ran into the back of the kid's parents car while it was parked, with the three of them in it. He said my friend hit the back of the car, flying head first into the back window, and caused a tiny crack in it. Then just stood up, dusted himself off, and rode away like nothing happened. He said his parents were stunned. My friend later confirmed the story. At the time I thought, "sounds about right".

The very first time I drove a car, I was with my dad and I crashed it into a tree. I pressed gas thinking it was brake. Car ended up having a huge dent in the front and was very expensive to fix. I was 16 at the time.

After that I was so scared of driving I didn't bother going to driver's ED until two years later.

Lucky. I'm not as big of a fan of snow as when I was a kid, but I want atleast some. Otherwise the seasons feel too samey. I live in Indiana. No snow in December. Snows one day in January, melts the next day. Then before daylight faded today I saw snowflakes, and thought, "about damn time". Snow stops within an hour of starting <sigh>.
